Skin Layer Rendering
feature
Overview
The 3D Skin Layers feature turns the outer clothing and accessory portions of a player's appearance into three-dimensional models rather than flat overlays. This applies to the hat, jacket, both sleeves, and both pant legs, and also extends to player heads shown as blocks or items. Settings let you adjust voxel dimensions for the body, head, and first-person hand, along with a distance threshold where the model reverts to the simpler flat version. Additional options cover faster rendering, alternative rendering paths for compatibility with other mods or shaders, and a workaround for flipped cube sides.
