Accessories Mod Settings Guide: Themes, Group Filters, Crafting Grid, Button Offsets, and Experimental Options

guide

The Accessories screen holds a set of appearance and behaviour controls that you adjust directly from its interface rather than through any crafting recipe. You reach it with the Open Accessories Screen action, bound to the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu), and every option below is toggled or dragged on that screen.

Themes

Two buttons switch the overall look of the interface. One applies a light appearance, the other a dark one. A separate Use Dark mode theme setting mirrors this choice, and Darkened Brightness lets you tune how deep the dark shading goes.

Group Filters

Group filters narrow which slots are shown at a glance. The Show group filter widget and Hide group filter widget controls decide whether that widget appears at all, while Show quick seeking group tabs adds tabs for jumping between groups. Reset Group Filters clears your current filtering back to its starting state. A related toggle handles filtering of unused slots, letting you hide or reveal slots that hold nothing.

Layout, Slots, and Scrolling

Selected Screen Type chooses between two arrangements: a paginated layout for accessory slots and a scrollable one. A slider adjusts how many columns the layout uses, and Allow Screen Slot Scrolling permits scrolling through slots on the screen. You can also hide or show all unused slots, and hide or show the equipped stack's slot type.

Cosmetic Slots

Show Cosmetic Slots and Hide Cosmetic Slots control the cosmetic side of the screen, with Show Item Cosmetic Rendering governing whether cosmetic items render on your character. A Keep Accessory Inventory option preserves that inventory.

Crafting Grid

The small crafting grid can be turned on or off with its show and hide controls. Allow Crafting Grid within Sidebar places that grid inside the sidebar instead of elsewhere.

Widget Placement and Rendering

Several controls reposition parts of the interface. You can move the accessories widget left or right, move the side widget so it sits together with the accessories widget, or move it to the opposite side. Line rendering can be shown or hidden entirely. Make Entity follow the Mouse Cursor and its disable counterpart control whether the entity tracks your cursor.

Button Offsets

Injected Button Offsets covers where the mod's buttons land. Inventory Button Offset shifts the button on the inventory screen, and Creative Inventory Button Offset does the same on the creative inventory screen.

Experimental Screen

These options are grouped as experimental. Use Experimental Caching enables a caching approach. Force Empty Render Replacement substitutes rendering for empty entries. Disable Empty Accessory Error suppresses the error raised by an empty accessory slot. Disabled Default Rendering and Disabled Default Renderers turn off the game's standard rendering in favour of the mod's own.

Config Notes

The Accessories Config title marks the configuration area. Quick Hand Equip Mode changes how equipping by hand behaves. To Previous Screen returns you to the screen you came from.

Most of these controls are simple toggles: press the button to flip between the shown and hidden state, or drag the slider where one is offered. If a control does not respond, confirm you are on the Accessories screen and that the relevant widget is visible.
