Another Furniture Wood Sets: Chairs, Tables, Benches, Shelves, Drawers, and Flower Boxes
Basic Wood Furniture Sets
This guide covers the full range of wooden furniture pieces added by the Another Furniture mod, including chairs, tables, benches, shelves, drawers, and flower boxes for every wood type. Each furniture set follows the same crafting pattern, so once you learn one wood type, you can apply that knowledge to all the others.
Chairs and Tables
The most basic furniture pieces are chairs and tables. Both use the same simple recipe: three planks of your chosen wood type and two sticks.
Dark Oak Chair – Craft with 3 Dark Oak Planks and 2 Sticks.
Dark Oak Table – Craft with 3 Dark Oak Planks and 2 Sticks.
Mangrove Chair – Craft with 3 Mangrove Planks and 2 Sticks.
Mangrove Table – Craft with 3 Mangrove Planks and 2 Sticks.
Acacia Chair – Craft with 3 Acacia Planks and 2 Sticks.
Acacia Table – Craft with 3 Acacia Planks and 2 Sticks.
The arrangement in the crafting grid is shaped, meaning the planks and sticks must be placed in a specific pattern. For chairs, place the three planks in a vertical column with the two sticks below them, forming a seat with legs. For tables, the same materials produce a flat surface supported by legs.
Matching Sets
Every wood type follows the identical recipe structure. If you are working with oak, spruce, birch, jungle, cherry, or any other wood that has a corresponding furniture set, the pattern remains the same: three planks of that wood plus two sticks.
This consistency makes it easy to plan a room. You can craft a full matching set of chairs and tables for a dining area, or mix different wood types for a more varied look.
Benches, Shelves, Drawers, and Flower Boxes
Beyond chairs and tables, the Another Furniture mod adds several other functional and decorative pieces to each wood set. These include:
- Benches – Seating that can accommodate multiple players or decorative figures.
- Shelves – Wall-mounted storage or display surfaces for items.
- Drawers – Functional storage blocks that open to hold items.
- Flower Boxes – Decorative containers designed to hold plants or flowers.
Each of these items is available for every wood type that has a furniture line. The crafting recipes follow the same logic as the chairs and tables, using that wood's planks and, where needed, sticks or other basic materials.
Practical Use
When building a home or interior space, you can keep a consistent theme by using a single wood type throughout. For example, a mangrove-themed room could include a Mangrove Table, Mangrove Chair, and matching bench. Alternatively, you can mix wood types to create contrast, such as pairing dark oak tables with acacia chairs.
Because the recipes are so straightforward, you can quickly produce multiple copies of each piece. Stock up on planks and sticks from your chosen wood, then craft as many chairs, tables, and other items as your build requires.
Placement Notes
Chairs and benches function as seats, so you can right-click them to sit down. Tables act as solid surfaces for placing items or decorations on top. Shelves and drawers provide storage, while flower boxes serve purely decorative purposes but can hold small plants.
All furniture is placed like any other block, and you can rotate it to face the direction you prefer. This allows you to arrange seating around a table, line benches along a wall, or position flower boxes under windows.
