Displaying Catches with Fish Mounts
Aquaculture 2 introduces various decorative fish mounts, allowing you to showcase the fish you catch. These mounts are crafted from different wood types, each requiring specific materials.
Crafting Fish Mounts
To create a fish mount, you will need five buttons of a specific wood type and one 
Iron Hook. The type of button used determines the appearance of the finished fish mount.

One recipe shape, one per wood
Every fish mount follows the same arrangement: five buttons of the wood you want plus an Iron Hook in the middle. Swap the button type and you get the matching mount — Acacia Fish Mount, Birch Fish Mount, Dark Oak Fish Mount and the rest of the vanilla wood set.
That makes the iron hook the real cost. Buttons are nearly free, so the number of mounts you can build is set entirely by how many hooks you can make.

Bobbers are a separate craft — two 
Clay Ball around a 
Nautilus Shell — and sit closer to functional gear than decoration, but they share the same shelf.
What the mod is, in numbers
Aquaculture 2 carries 124 items against only 5 blocks across its 51 crafting recipes. The mounts are a large share of what few blocks there are, which is why they feel like the mod's whole decorative offering: they nearly are.
Displaying a collection
Because each mount is wood-specific and cheap apart from the hook, the usual approach is to match the mount to the room rather than to the fish. Build the hooks in a batch first, then craft mounts as you decide where each catch is going — the reverse leaves you with mounts in a wood you are not using.
