Each one has its own recipe, and the recipes build on one another in a clear progression.

The Dino Whistle

The Dino Whistle is the foundation of the toolkit. It is crafted using a shaped recipe that combines a Goat Horn with two Iron Ingots. Because the Dino Whistle appears as an ingredient in other recipes, it is worth making early and keeping on hand rather than treating it as a single-use item.

The Taming Wand

The Taming Wand is the next step up. Its shaped recipe requires a Prehistoric Gem, a Stick, and a Dino Whistle. This means you cannot make a Taming Wand until you have already crafted a Dino Whistle, so plan your materials accordingly. If you are working toward taming dinosaurs, the Taming Wand is the tool that sits at the center of that effort, and the Dino Whistle is effectively its prerequisite.

The Titanoboa Flute

The Titanoboa Flute serves a distinct role from the other two tools. It is crafted with a shaped recipe that uses three Nigersaurus Spines. Unlike the Taming Wand, the Titanoboa Flute does not require a Dino Whistle or any other crafted tool as an ingredient — only the three spines. This makes it an independent craft, but it also means you need to obtain Nigersaurus Spines before you can make one.

The Paleo Book (Work in progress)

The Paleo Book (Work in progress) is crafted with a shapeless recipe that combines a Book and an Oviraptor Fossil. Because the recipe is shapeless, the arrangement of the two ingredients does not matter. The item is marked as a work in progress, so treat it as an incomplete feature rather than a finished tool.
