Decorative Brick Variants and Mossy Versions in Armageddon

guide

This guide covers all decorative brick variants and mossy versions available in the Armageddon mod. Each brick type is tied to a specific metal ingot and can be crafted directly from stone bricks or converted from its chiseled counterpart.

Bloody Bricks

Bloody Bricks are the base decorative block associated with the Bloody Ingot. To craft them, place eight Stone Bricks in a ring around a single Bloody Ingot in the center of a crafting grid. Alternatively, you can place four Chiseled Bloody Bricks in a 2x2 square to get the same result. A stonecutter also accepts Chiseled Bloody Bricks as input, producing Bloody Bricks as the output.

Helionite Bricks

Helionite Bricks follow the same pattern. Combine eight Stone Bricks with one Helionite Ingot in the crafting table. You can also convert four Chiseled Helionite Bricks back into Helionite Bricks using either a shaped crafting recipe or a stonecutter. Both methods yield the same decorative block.

Voiderite Bricks

Voiderite Bricks require eight Stone Bricks and one Voiderite Ingot in the standard ring-and-center shaped recipe. Like the others, four Chiseled Voiderite Bricks can be crafted into Voiderite Bricks, and the stonecutter provides an alternative conversion route from the chiseled form.

Elvenite Bricks

Elvenite Bricks are made by surrounding one Elvenite Ingot with eight Stone Bricks in a crafting grid. You can also obtain them by placing four Chiseled Elvenite Bricks in a 2x2 pattern, or by using a stonecutter with the chiseled block as the source material.

Mossy Bloody Bricks

There are three distinct ways to produce Mossy Bloody Bricks. The first is smelting: put a Bloody Bricks block in a furnace or blast furnace to get Mossy Bloody Bricks as the result. The other two are crafting recipes. Combine a Bloody Bricks block with Vines in a shaped recipe, or combine it with a Moss Block instead. Both vine and moss block recipes work identically and give you the mossy version.

Mossy Helionite Bricks

Mossy Helionite Bricks are made exclusively through crafting—there is no smelting method for this variant. Place one Helionite Bricks block together with either Vines or a Moss Block in a shaped crafting recipe. Both combinations are valid and produce the same mossy block, so you can use whichever organic material you have on hand.

General Notes on Conversions

For every brick type mentioned above, the chiseled version can always be converted back to the standard brick version. This gives you flexibility when building: you can craft chiseled blocks for detailed accents and then reconvert them if you need a larger quantity of the plain brick. The stonecutter is particularly useful for bulk conversion, as it processes one chiseled block at a time without consuming additional materials.

When gathering materials, remember that Vines and Moss Blocks are interchangeable for mossy crafting recipes. Smelting is only available for Bloody Bricks, so for the Helionite mossy variant you must rely on the vine or moss block recipes. All standard brick variants require their corresponding ingot plus eight stone bricks, making the ingot the limiting resource in most builds. Plan your ingot usage accordingly if you intend to produce large quantities of any single brick type.
