Armageddon Melee Weapons Guide
This original wiki guide covers the swords, axes, and other melee weapons added by the Armageddon mod, including their crafting recipes and upgrade paths.
Basic Swords and the Bloody Sword
The most straightforward melee weapon is the
Bloody Sword. To craft it, you will need two
Bloody Ingots and one
Stick. Arrange the two ingots vertically in the top two slots of the crafting grid and place the stick directly below them in the bottom center slot. This produces one
Bloody Sword. It serves as a solid early-game or mid-game weapon, depending on when you acquire Bloody Ingots.
The Elvenite Scythe
For a different type of melee weapon, the
Elvenite Scythe offers a larger reach and a distinct visual style. Its crafting recipe requires four
Elvenite Ingots and two
Sticks. Place the four ingots in a "U" shape across the top and middle rows of the crafting grid, leaving the center and bottom-middle slots empty. Then, place one stick in the bottom center slot and the other stick in the bottom right slot. This will yield one
Elvenite Scythe.
Advanced Swords and Fused Weapons
Several powerful melee weapons are created by combining existing tools with rare materials. These are not simple recipes but rather fusions of specific components.
The Vampiric Blade
To forge the Vampiric Blade, you must combine several dark and powerful items. The recipe requires two
Spirit of Dread, one
Hemalith Catalyst, two
Spirit of Despair, one
Calamitous Core, and a standard
Bloody Sword. When all these components are placed correctly in the crafting grid, they fuse into the Vampiric Blade, a weapon that likely channels the dread spirits' power.
The Prismatic Blade
The Prismatic Blade is another advanced fusion weapon. Its recipe calls for one
Ancient Prism, two
Prismarine Shards, one
Prismatic Sword, and one Rusty Sword of the Legendary Hero. Combining these four items will transform them into the Prismatic Blade. This weapon appears to be an upgrade path for the base
Prismatic Sword, requiring the legendary rusty blade as a key component.
The Scorchfang
A unique melee weapon, the
Scorchfang, is crafted from a mix of metallic and fiery components. You will need one
Colossal Iron Ingot, two Blocks of Coal, one
Flint and Steel, and one
Gemwoven Fragment. Arranging these in the crafting grid produces the
Scorchfang, a weapon that presumably harnesses the heat of the coal and flint.
The Worldbreaker Axe
The Worldbreaker Axe is not crafted from scratch but is instead an upgraded version of another axe. To obtain it, you must use a smithing table. The transformation requires a
Smithing Template, the base weapon The Worldshaper Axe, and one
Netherite Ingot. Place the template in the first smithing slot, the Worldshaper Axe in the second, and the
Netherite Ingot in the third. The result is the Worldbreaker Axe, a superior tool and weapon.
Summary of Melee Options

The Scorchfang: A weapon forged from colossal iron, coal, flint and steel, and a gemwoven fragment.- The Worldbreaker Axe: A smithing upgrade from The Worldshaper Axe using a template and Netherite.
When choosing your melee weapon, consider the materials you have gathered. The
Bloody Sword and
Elvenite Scythe are direct crafts, while the others require you to first obtain their specific base weapons and rare components. The Worldbreaker Axe stands out as the only weapon in this list that requires a smithing table rather than a standard crafting grid.
