Elemental staves, chitinous firearms, and apocalyptic blasters form the pinnacle of ranged combat in Arphex. Combining boss gems with Nether materials allows players to progress from simple incendiary staffs to colossal particle cannons capable of disintegrating swarms of monstrous arthropods.
Assembling Elemental Staves
Channeling arcane elemental energy begins with vertical staff crafting lines:
Ascendant Staff: Position one 
Fire Opal at the top of a crafting table directly above two 
End Rod pieces arranged in a vertical column.
Ethereal Staff: Place one Fire Opal in the top slot above two 
Blaze Rod items in a vertical column.
Staff of Vitality: Align one Fire Opal on top, one 
Mantle Of Vitality in the center, and one 
Lightning Rod at the base.
Warp Staff: Fabricate a mobility focus by combining two 
Ender Pearl items flanking a central 
Warp Wayfinder on the top row, two 
Bane Blossom flowers framing an Ethereal Staff in the middle row, and an additional Ethereal Staff in the bottom center.
Upgrading Heavy Firearms and Blasters
Arthropod ranged weaponry develops through an iterative upgrade tree starting with the baseline fireblaster:
Formic Fireblaster: Position two 
Scorch Charge items in the top and middle center slots, flanked by two Blaze Rod pieces on the middle sides, and two 
Chitin plates flanking one 
Netherite Ingot along the bottom row.
Hypnotic Hellblaster: Combine one Fire Opal directly with a Formic Fireblaster in any crafting grid to boost fire rate and blast radius.
Abyssal Annihilator: Combine one 
Abyssal Crystal with a Formic Fireblaster to channel explosive abyssal energy.
Vengeful Voidseeker: Fuse one 
Void Geode with a Formic Fireblaster to launch piercing void projectiles.
Judgement Blaster: Place an 
Infernal Ingot in the bottom center, flanked by two Scorch Charge items surrounding two Hypnotic Hellblaster weapons.
Oblivion Ray: Combine a 
Vitality Viewfinder on top, two Hypnotic Hellblaster units flanking an 
Entropy Matrix in the middle, and an Infernal Ingot at the base.
Genesis Rifle: Mount an Oblivion Ray in the center flanked by two Scorch Charge explosives, with a Judgement Blaster on top and a 
Spacetime Ingot below.
Chrono Cannon: Position a 
Vortex Devastator between two 
Time Prism gems, supported by a Vengeful Voidseeker on top and a Scorch Charge underneath.
Tormented Wrath: Form an apocalyptic multi-barrel array by surrounding three 
Core Of Eternal Suffering gems with four Abyssal Annihilator blasters and two Vengeful Voidseeker side cannons.
Blades, Daggers, and Hybrid Armaments
Melee specialists can forge poison-infused blades and heavy relic daggers:
Black Widow Bow: Combine one 
Necrotic Fang, one standard 
Bow, and one 
Giant Spinneret to fire toxic webs.
Dagger Of Dissolution: Align one 
Venomous Appendage, one Necrotic Fang, and one Netherite Ingot in a vertical crafting line.
Abyssal Dagger: Combine a Dagger Of Dissolution with an Abyssal Crystal to enhance critical strike damage.
Abyssal Blade: Combine an Abyssal Crystal on top with a 
Netherite Sword flanked by a Mantle Of Vitality and 
Bane of the Darkness.
Abyss Ascendant: Frame an 
Umbral Ingot between two Abyssal Blade weapons and two Ascendant Staff implements, reinforced with four corner Scorch Charge modules.
