Using the Blue Wither Skull Bounce, Inertia, and Multi-Shot Options in BE Style Wither

guide

BE Style Wither is a utility mod whose features are turned on and off through its own interface, and the blue wither skull projectile options are the part most players want to understand first. This guide explains what each of those projectile toggles does and how to reach them, without assuming anything beyond what the mod itself presents.

Opening the mod's interface

Everything in this mod is handled through its on-screen interface rather than through crafting recipes. Open that interface to see the list of toggles, then switch individual options on or off as you need them. The mod also exposes actions that can be bound to keys: for any action described below, assign it to the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu), since no default key is fixed by the mod itself.

The three blue wither skull projectile options

These three settings control how the blue wither skull behaves once it is fired. They are independent toggles, so you can combine them.

  • enableBounceBlueWitherSkull — turns on bouncing behaviour for the blue wither skull. With this active, the projectile does not simply stop when it meets a surface; it rebounds instead.
  • enableMoreInertialBlueWitherSkull — gives the blue wither skull greater inertia. The projectile carries its motion more strongly, so it resists changes to its movement rather than losing momentum quickly.
  • enableShootMoreBlueWitherSkull — raises the number of blue wither skulls fired. Instead of a single projectile per shot, more than one is launched.

Because these are separate switches, enabling only the bounce option leaves the skull's inertia and count untouched, and enabling only the multi-shot option leaves its bounce and inertia at their normal behaviour. Decide which combination suits the situation and toggle accordingly.

The interface also contains other options that change how the wither behaves. They are not part of the projectile trio above, but they appear alongside them and are operated the same way.

  • enableSpinAndWhiteSummon — enables the spin and white summon behaviour.
  • enableExplodeByHalfHealth — makes the wither explode once its health reaches half.
  • enableExplodeByDie — makes the wither explode when it dies.
  • enableChargeAttack — enables the charge attack.
  • enableDoubleHealth — doubles the wither's health.
  • enableMaintainWeakenedState — keeps the wither in its weakened state.

Each of these is a plain on/off setting. Turn one on to apply its effect, turn it off to return to the default behaviour.

How to operate the settings

  1. Open the mod's interface.
  2. Locate the option you want by its name, for example enableBounceBlueWitherSkull.
  3. Switch it on or off.
  4. Repeat for any other options you want to change.

If an action is available as a bindable command rather than only as an interface switch, bind it to the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu) so you can trigger it during play. Do not assume a particular key — the mod does not assign one for you.

Practical notes

  • The three projectile options affect the blue wither skull specifically, so changes are visible only when that projectile is used.
  • Bounce, inertia, and shot count stack with one another; test combinations rather than expecting one setting to override another.
  • The remaining toggles in the list change the wither's own behaviour, such as its health, its explosions, and its weakened state, and can be enabled at the same time as the projectile options.
  • If a setting seems to have no effect, confirm it is actually switched on in the interface before looking for another cause.
