BE Style Wither Mod Guide: Open the Interface, Change Settings, and Toggle Features

guide

BE Style Wither is a Minecraft utility mod that changes how the wither behaves, and everything it offers is handled through an on-screen interface and hotkeys rather than crafting recipes. This guide covers how to reach that interface, how to move around its settings, and how to switch individual features on or off.

Opening the Interface

The mod is not built or obtained through a crafting table. Instead, its options are reached through the mod's own interface, which you bring up with the corresponding hotkey. That key is not fixed by the mod itself, so assign one you like in the controls menu before you start. Once the interface is open, you will see the list of available toggles, each labelled with the name of the behaviour it controls.

Moving Around the Settings

The interface presents its options as a straightforward list of feature toggles. There are no submenus or hidden pages to hunt through — each entry corresponds to one behaviour, and each one can be switched on or off independently. Read the label on an entry to know what it governs, then change its state to match how you want the wither to act. Because the entries are independent, you can enable only the behaviours you want and leave the rest disabled.

Toggling Features On and Off

Every option below is a simple on/off switch. Turn one on to activate that behaviour, and turn it off to return to the default behaviour for that aspect of the wither.

  • enableBounceBlueWitherSkull — controls whether blue wither skulls bounce.
  • enableMoreInertialBlueWitherSkull — controls whether blue wither skulls carry more inertia.
  • enableShootMoreBlueWitherSkull — controls whether the wither fires more blue wither skulls.
  • enableSpinAndWhiteSummon — controls the spin and white summon behaviour.
  • enableExplodeByHalfHealth — controls whether the wither explodes once it reaches half health.
  • enableExplodeByDie — controls whether the wither explodes when it dies.
  • enableChargeAttack — controls whether the charge attack is used.
  • enableDoubleHealth — controls whether the wither has double health.
  • enableMaintainWeakenedState — controls whether the weakened state is maintained.

Practical Tips

Change one toggle at a time and observe the result, so you always know which setting produced which behaviour. If a fight feels too chaotic, disable the explosion-related options first, since those have the largest effect on how a battle ends. If you want a longer, tougher encounter, the health-related option is the one to enable. Keep in mind that these toggles affect the wither's behaviour, so test them somewhere you can safely observe the results.

Summary

Open the interface with its hotkey from the controls menu, read the list of toggles, and switch each behaviour on or off as needed. The nine options cover bouncing and inertia for blue wither skulls, how many skulls are fired, the spin and white summon behaviour, explosions at half health and on death, the charge attack, double health, and maintaining the weakened state. No crafting is involved at any point — the interface and its hotkeys are the whole control scheme.
