Better Crafting Recipes: Ten Recipes, No Content
Better Crafting Recipes adds crafting routes for things vanilla does not let you make. This guide covers its scope.
No items, no blocks
The mod registers zero items and zero blocks, with 10 crafting recipes on 1.21.1 and 8 on 1.20.1.
Every one of those recipes therefore produces a vanilla item. That is the mod's whole premise: it does not add anything new, it adds ways to make things that already exist.
What that usually covers
Recipes of this kind typically target items vanilla makes obtainable only by exploration or trading — things you can find but not craft. Ten recipes is a short, deliberate list rather than a wholesale rebalance.
Two more recipes on the newer build
10 against 8. In a mod this size that is a quarter more content, so the version difference is proportionally significant even though the absolute numbers are small.
The loader changes between versions
The 1.21.1 build is 1.1.0 on NeoForge and the 1.20.1 build is 1.0.0 on Fabric. That is a platform change as well as a version change — a Forge pack on 1.20.1 cannot use this mod, and moving between Minecraft lines means switching loader.
No structures, no dependency
The mod generates no worldgen and needs no partner mod. It is about as light as an addition can be: ten recipe entries and nothing else in the registry.
Judging it fairly
Zero pages on this wiki is the correct result for a mod that adds no items. There is nothing to document per-item because every output already has a vanilla page elsewhere.
Whether to install it
This is a preference mod rather than a content mod. If you find vanilla's non-craftable items frustrating, ten recipes close some of those gaps. If you value those items being exploration-gated, this mod removes exactly that.
Either way it changes no terrain and adds no registry entries, so it can be added or removed from a world at any time with no consequences.
Version summary
1.1.0 on NeoForge (1.21.1) with 10 recipes, 1.0.0 on Fabric (1.20.1) with 8.
Why it registers nothing
A mod whose outputs are all vanilla items has nothing of its own to register. That is why this wiki reports zero pages: there is no new item to document, because every result already has a page in the base game.
The recipes themselves are the content, and a recipe is not a page.
What to check before installing
Only the loader. NeoForge on 1.21.1, Fabric on 1.20.1 — the two builds do not share a platform, which is unusual and easy to miss when moving a pack between Minecraft versions.
Scale
0 pages, 0 items, 0 blocks, 0 structures, 10 crafting recipes (8 on 1.20.1).
