BetterEnd Infusion Rituals and the Eternal Ritual Portal Home
BetterEnd Infusion Rituals let you combine ingredients into new items, and the Eternal Ritual uses that same crafting method to build a portal back to the Overworld.
Building the Infusion Structure
An Infusion Ritual needs a specific arrangement of pedestals before anything can happen. Craft one 
Infusion Pedestal plus eight pedestals of any other type. Set the Infusion Pedestal in the middle of your setup, then arrange the remaining eight pedestals in a ring around it. Once every pedestal sits in its proper spot, the structure is ready and you can begin an infusion.
Running an Infusion
Each infusion uses one main ingredient and a set of catalysts. Put the catalysts on the surrounding pedestals, then place the main ingredient on the central Infusion Pedestal. Recipes are listed in REI, so check there to learn what each combination produces.
There are two ways to trigger the ritual. You can either save the main ingredient for last, or you can interact with the Infusion Pedestal directly. Either action starts the process. After that, wait for the ritual to finish, then collect the result.
Infusion Recipe Examples
The Infusion Ritual has 46 recipes in total. Some upgrade gear into stronger versions:

Enchanted Book, giving you a way to produce enchanted books through infusion rather than other methods.
The Eternal Ritual
The Eternal Ritual is a more involved route back to the Overworld. While exploring the End, you may find ancient ruins. These ruins contain a frame made of 
Runed Flavolite with six pedestals arranged around it. They are what remains of grand portals that once connected the End and the Overworld.
To bring such a portal back to life, first repair the frame if it is damaged or destroyed. Then place six 
Eternal Crystals onto the pedestals. The portal activates once the final crystal is set in place.
Getting the Ritual Materials
Both Runed Flavolite, used to restore a broken frame, and Eternal Crystals, used to power the pedestals, come from the Infusion Ritual. That means you need a working infusion setup before you can attempt the Eternal Ritual. Prepare your pedestals, gather the ingredients each recipe calls for, and check REI for the exact combinations.
Putting It Together
Start by building the nine-pedestal infusion structure and running recipes until you have produced the Runed Flavolite and six Eternal Crystals you need. Then find an ancient ruin, repair its frame with Runed Flavolite, and set the six Eternal Crystals on the surrounding pedestals. With the last crystal placed, the portal opens and you can return home.
