Beyond Dimensions: A Compact Dimension Mod
Beyond Dimensions adds dimensional travel with a very short recipe list. This guide covers what it registers and how the builds compare.
Thirty recipes in total
For a dimension mod that is a small footprint. Thirty recipes against 19 items and 15 blocks means roughly one recipe per page — everything the mod adds can be made, with nothing hidden behind drops or exploration.
The newer build has six more recipes
29 against 23 in crafting is the only meaningful difference, and it is proportionally large: about a quarter of the newer build's crafting list does not exist on 1.20.1.
Both are version 0.7.30 — NeoForge on 1.21.1, Forge on 1.20.1 — so the version string is identical while the content is not. That is worth knowing before assuming the two are equivalent.
No worldgen structures
The mod registers no structures, which is unusual for something dimension-themed. Whatever the new dimensions contain, it is terrain rather than buildings, and none of it is gated behind finding a specific site.
An even split
34 pages across 19 items and 15 blocks. Neither side dominates, which fits a mod whose content is the places you go rather than the things you carry or build.
Where to start
Read the crafting list. At 29 recipes it is short, and since there are no structures and no drops-only items, the recipe list is a complete map of what the mod can make.
What to expect
A compact, self-contained dimension mod with no dependency, no machine and no exploration gate. The interesting part is not the recipe list but where those thirty recipes let you go.
Version summary
0.7.30 on both lines, with 6 more crafting recipes on 1.21.1 and a loader difference between NeoForge and Forge.
The version trap
Both builds report version 0.7.30, but the newer line carries 29 crafting recipes against 23. Identical version strings with different content is unusual and worth flagging: you cannot tell these two apart by version number alone.
If a recipe from a guide does not exist for you, check the Minecraft line rather than assuming a missing ingredient.
The mod in numbers
34 pages, 19 items, 15 blocks, 30 recipes, 0 structures. Close to one recipe per page means the recipe list is a complete inventory of what the mod can make — nothing drops, nothing is found.
For a dimension mod, that puts all the content in the destinations rather than in the loot.
