Processing Biomass with the Decomposer and Digester
The
Decomposer and
Digester form the primary biomass refining pipeline in Biomancy, breaking down organic mob drops into base biochemical reagents and transforming surplus food into nutrient paste. Mastering these two machines ensures a steady supply of hormones, bile, and nutrients to power all advanced bio-forging recipes.
Building and Operating the Decomposer
The
Decomposer dismantles organic materials, gathering chemical compounds, skeletal fragments, and cellular components.
Crafting Recipe
Players build the workstation on a standard crafting table using predatory trophies and meat:
- Place two creature fangs in the top-left and top-right slots, leaving the top-middle slot empty.
- Place one
Bile Gland in the center slot. - Place one chunk of living flesh in the bottom-middle slot.
- Place four raw meats in the remaining outer slots (middle-left, middle-right, bottom-left, and bottom-right).
Alternatively, players with an active forge can assemble it using living flesh, flesh bits, bone fragments, elastic fibers, and a mineral fragment.
Recovered Chemical Reagents
Inserting organic items, monster drops, or plant blocks into the decomposer breaks them down into essential components:
Bile: Organic fluid refined from membranes, glands, and digestive tissues, used extensively in bio-alchemy.
Biotic Matter: Moist humus-like organic material refined from plants and foliage.
Bone Fragments: Tiny structural bone splinters harvested from skeletal remains, providing structural rigidity for mechanical bio-parts.
Bone Marrow: Harvested from large bones, rich in minerals and vital hormones.
Exotic Dust: Concentrated alchemical particulate recovered from rare or magical biological specimens.
Constructing and Feeding the Digester
While the decomposer extracts specialized chemical reagents, the
Digester liquefies bulk organic foods into universal nutritional fuel.
Crafting Recipe
The digester is fabricated within the Bio-Forge using five raw anatomical parts:
- One chunk of living flesh
- One portion of flesh bits
- One collection of bone fragments
- One strand of elastic fibers
- One measure of
Bile
Producing Nutrient Paste
Once placed, the digester consumes any consumable foodstuffs, crops, or raw organic materials inserted into its digestive chamber. Feeding the machine with items like apples, eggs, bamboo, or meats processes them into
Nutrient Paste.
Nutrient Paste serves two vital roles:
- Machine fuel: Feeds into bio-forges and bio-brewing stations to sustain biological operations.
- Serum base: Acts as the primary metabolic carrier required in recipes for aging serums, breeding stimulants, and enlargement compounds.
Maintaining an automated supply of food crops into your digester guarantees uninterrupted nutrient paste generation for all downstream bio-engineering projects.
