Discovering Cold and Snowy Overworld Biomes
Biomes O' Plenty adds various cold, snowy, and wintry biomes to the Overworld. These biomes feature distinct temperatures and different sets of creatures and monsters that can appear.
Snowy Biomes
Several biomes are categorized as snowy, typically having a temperature of -0.25.
The Snowy Fir Clearing is a snowy biome with a temperature of -0.25. In this biome, you may encounter monsters such as spider, zombie, zombie villager, skeleton, creeper, and slime. Common creatures include sheep, pig, chicken, cow, wolf, and rabbit.
The Auroral Garden is another snowy biome, also with a temperature of -0.25. This biome is home to sheep and fox.
The Muskeg is a snowy biome with a slightly warmer temperature of 0.0. Monsters that can appear here include spider, zombie, zombie villager, skeleton, creeper, and slime. The main creature found in this biome is the frog.
The Snowy Coniferous Forest is a snowy biome with a temperature of -0.25. This biome features common monsters like spider, zombie, zombie villager, skeleton, creeper, and slime. You can also find creatures such as wolf, rabbit, and fox here.
Cold Biomes
Other biomes are simply classified as cold, with varying temperatures.
The Cold Desert is a cold biome with a temperature of 0.25. It is notable for having no rain. Monsters that can spawn here include spider, zombie, zombie villager, skeleton, creeper, and slime. Creatures found in this biome are polar bear and wolf.
The Bog is a cold biome with a temperature of 0.2. In this biome, you can find monsters such as spider, zombie, zombie villager, skeleton, creeper, and slime. The pig is a common creature in the Bog.
