Borderless Fullscreen

Overview
Borderless Fullscreen is a setting that replaces the standard fullscreen mode with a borderless window when fullscreen is activated. It is turned off by default on macOS because that system handles fullscreen natively, and the option has no effect elsewhere. A related Fullscreen Resolution choice activates the feature, and it can use custom dimensions or monitor-relative coordinates rather than absolute ones.
