Conquering the Obsidilith in the End involves locating its arena and understanding its unique properties. The Obsidilith is one of four epic endgame bosses added by the Bosses of Mass Destruction mod, and it appears in rare structures found within the End islands.

Obsidilith Arena

The Obsidilith Arena generates in the End. The game attempts to place one arena per 64x64 chunk region, ensuring that each arena is at least 32 chunks apart from others. Within the arena's boundaries, normal monster mob spawning is overridden. This means that while inside the arena, you will not encounter typical End monsters.

Preparing for the Fight

To prepare for the Obsidilith, consider bringing specific items that can aid in survival and combat.

Charged Ender Pearl: This item is reusable and grants a brief period of resistance after you teleport. This can be crucial for repositioning or escaping dangerous situations during the fight.
Crystal Fruit: Consuming a Crystal Fruit provides a short duration of regeneration and resistance. This can help you recover health and reduce incoming damage when facing the Obsidilith.

The Obsidilith is designed as an endgame challenge, so proper preparation with these items and other high-tier gear is recommended for a successful encounter.

Arena spacing

The Obsidilith Arena generates at spacing 64 with a separation of 32 as a surface structure. That puts it in the middle of the mod's rarity range — half as common as the Gauntlet Arena at 32, but far easier to find than the Lich Tower at 100.

Because it is a surface structure in the End, flying a search pattern is the practical way to find one; the terrain gives you nothing to follow.

The two items worth bringing

The mod's crafting list is only seven recipes long, and two of them matter here:

Charged Ender Pearl — Void Thorn, an Ender Pearl and Ancient Anima — is reusable and gives brief resistance after teleporting, which is exactly what an arena fight in the End asks for.
Earthdive Spear — an Obsidian Heart, a Void Thorn and a Stick — grants a short-range teleport through solid blocks.

Between them you have both a repositioning tool that does not consume pearls and a way out of a corner.

If it goes badly

Brimstone Nectar, made from Netherite Scrap, Dragon's Breath and a Ghast Tear, resets nearby boss structures. Crafting one before the attempt turns a failed fight into a retry rather than a hunt for another arena 64 chunks away.
