Brazilian Delight Cooking Pot, Cutting Board and Crops
This guide covers the cooking systems Brazilian Delight uses and how its ingredients are produced.
Three ways to cook the same things
Campfire Cooking, Smelting and Smoking each hold 11 recipes, identical on both builds. Matching counts across all three means essentially every cooked item in the mod can go through any of them.
Practically, use the campfire. It is available immediately, costs almost nothing, and covers the same list as the furnace and smoker.
The cooking pot is the real system
26 Cooking recipes run through Farmer's Delight's cooking pot — the largest specialised category in the mod and nearly four times the size of the cutting board's 7. Composite dishes live here; the vanilla stations only handle the simple ones.
The cutting board is small but necessary
Seven recipes is a short list, but cutting board output feeds the pot. Skipping it means missing ingredients for the larger dishes rather than just missing seven foods.
Eighty-eight crafting recipes
The crafting grid carries more entries than any other category, covering the mod's blocks, tools and the simpler assembled foods. It is also the only category that works with no other mod installed.
Both builds are identical, on different loaders
Every recipe category has the same count on 1.21.1 and 1.20.1. The difference is the platform: 3.0.1 on Fabric for the newer line and 2.0.3 on Forge for the older. Content-wise there is nothing to choose between them.
Ingredients come from farming
121 items against 80 blocks across 201 pages, and no worldgen structures at all. Nothing in this mod is found — the crops are planted and the dishes are cooked, so the opening move is agricultural rather than exploratory.
Dependency
Thirty-three of the mod's recipes belong to Farmer's Delight categories. In a pack without that mod, the cooking pot and cutting board lists are inert and only the 88 crafting and 33 vanilla-station recipes remain.
Why the three vanilla counts match exactly
Campfire cooking, smelting and smoking sitting at 11 recipes each is not a coincidence — it is the standard Minecraft pattern of registering one recipe per food per station. The useful consequence is that none of those 11 foods is gated behind equipment: whichever of the three you have, you can cook all of them.
What each station is for
- Campfire, furnace or smoker — the 11 simple foods, any station, from day one
- Cutting board — 7 recipes that prepare ingredients
- Cooking pot — 26 composite dishes, the largest specialised category
- Crafting grid — 88 recipes covering blocks, tools and simple assembly
Read in that order it is a straight progression, and the pot is the only part that genuinely needs building toward.
