Brazilian Delight: Farmer's Delight Cooking, Brazilian Dishes
Brazilian Delight is a Farmer's Delight addon built around regional cooking. This guide covers where its recipes live and one detail about its two builds that is easy to miss.
Cooking is the largest specialised category
The recipe list splits cleanly:
- Crafting — 88 recipes
- Cooking — 26 recipes, through Farmer's Delight's cooking pot
- Campfire Cooking — 11, Smelting — 11, Smoking — 11
- Cutting Board — 7 recipes, also Farmer's Delight
The three eleven-recipe categories are the same foods reachable three ways. That is a common pattern in food mods and a useful one: a campfire works from your first day, so nothing here waits on a furnace.
It needs Farmer's Delight
Thirty-three of the recipes — the 26 cooking and 7 cutting board entries — belong to Farmer's Delight rather than to this mod. Without that mod installed, roughly a quarter of Brazilian Delight does nothing.
That is the normal arrangement for a Delight addon, but it is worth checking before adding this to a pack that does not already have the base mod.
The two builds are identical in content but not in loader
Every category carries exactly the same count on both versions. Nothing was added or removed.
What did change is the platform: the 1.21.1 build is 3.0.1 on Fabric, and the 1.20.1 build is 2.0.3 on Forge. That is unusual — most mods on this wiki keep the same loader family across versions — and it means a pack cannot simply move this mod between lines without also matching the loader.
Items over blocks
201 pages across 121 items and 80 blocks. The items are ingredients and finished dishes; the blocks are crops and the furniture that supports cooking.
No structures
The mod generates no worldgen structures. Ingredients come from farming rather than exploring, so the first step is planting rather than travelling.
Where to start
Get a cooking pot. With 26 of the mod's specialised recipes behind it and only 7 on the cutting board, the pot is where most of Brazilian Delight actually happens.
