Crafting Machine Guide for Brutality – A Terramity Addon
The Crafting machine is the core crafting station in the Brutality addon, holding 354 distinct recipes that transform raw materials into powerful equipment and utility items. This guide covers how the machine works and highlights key recipes you can use to upgrade your gear.
Understanding the Crafting Machine
The Crafting machine functions as a specialized crafting interface. Unlike a standard crafting table, it does not accept just any combination of items. Instead, it checks your inputs against a fixed list of 354 specific recipes. Each recipe requires exact items and quantities, so you must gather the precise components listed before using the machine.
When you place the correct items into the machine’s input slots, it will produce the output item. If your combination does not match any of the 354 recipes, the machine will not craft anything. Always double-check your ingredient counts, as many recipes require multiple copies of the same material, such as four Sapphire or eight Black Matter.
Transforming Basic Materials
Many recipes start with common blocks and turn them into more useful forms. For example, you can place three
Black Concrete to receive six
Black Concrete Slab, or six
Black Concrete to get four
Black Concrete Stair. These building conversions are simple and efficient for construction projects.
Other recipes combine basic materials into decorative or functional items. Combining
Light Blue Dye, four
White Wool,
Orange Dye, and
Pink Dye produces a
Beach Ball. Similarly, five
Black Concrete plus one
Black Carpet yields two
Black Office Chair.
Crafting Powerful Equipment
The majority of the 354 recipes focus on creating high-tier gear. For example, combining four
Sapphire, four
Blue Ice, and a
Glass Bottle yields
Absolute Zero, a powerful weapon. Another notable weapon recipe uses four
Daemonium Chunk and three
Bamboo to create a Bamboo Staff.
Several recipes upgrade existing equipment. Adding four
Conductite Ingot to a
Smithing Template produces
Addition (+). You can also craft specialized anklets and necklaces with unique effects. For instance, three
Leather, an
Empty Anklet, and a
Slimeball create a
Basketball Anklet, while four
Block of Gold plus an
Empty Anklet makes
Big Steppa.
Complex Combination Recipes
Some of the most powerful items require multi-step assembly. The
Abyssal Necklace needs two
Onyx, three
Kelp, a
Gold Necklace, and a
Heart of the Sea. The
Ankle Monitor is crafted from three
Black Concrete, an
Empty Anklet,
Redstone Dust, a
Ball n' Chain, and a
Scientific Calculator.
More advanced recipes combine several rare components. For example, Atomic Judgement requires four
Conductite Ingot, a
Virentium Rocket,
TNT, and a
Hellrok Gigaton Hammer. The
Biomechanical Reactor uses four
Virentium Alloy Ingot, four
Nyxium Ingot, and a
Prismatic Jewel.
Specialized Utility Items
Some recipes create tools for specific tasks. A
Bamboo Steamer is made from seven
Block of Stripped Bamboo, a
Water Bucket, and a
Magma Block. The
Black Hole Orb combines eight
Nyxium Glass with a
Pocket Black Hole.
Certain recipes incorporate thematic or humorous items. The
Air Jordan Earrings require two
Iron Nugget,
Diamond Earrings, two
Red Concrete, and a
Phantom Membrane.
Anger Management uses a
Sunflower, five
Unbridled Rage, and a
Terramity Guidebook (Icon).
Tips for Using the Crafting Machine
Before attempting a recipe, gather every ingredient in the exact quantity specified. Missing even one item will prevent crafting. Pay attention to item variants—for example,
Block of Gold is not the same as gold ingots, and
Black Concrete differs from other concrete colors.
If you are unsure whether a recipe exists, try placing your available materials into the machine. The machine will only respond when the combination is valid, so experimentation is safe and will not consume items unless the craft succeeds.
The Crafting machine rewards careful preparation. By learning its 354 recipes, you can turn otherwise mundane materials into some of the most formidable equipment available in the addon.
