The Abyssal Warlock armor set is an upgraded tier of wizard equipment, and every piece is built by combining an existing wizard garment with an Abyssal Rune and Arcane Essence. You do not start from raw materials — you start from the wizard gear you already own, then transform it.

What You Need

Each piece of the set follows the same ingredient pattern. The only thing that changes is which wizard item sits at the center of the recipe.

That means a full set consumes five wizard garments, five Abyssal Runes, and five Arcane Essence in total.

The Two Crafting Methods

Every piece in the set can be produced in more than one way, so you are not locked into a single station.

Shapeless crafting: place the wizard item, the Abyssal Rune, and the Arcane Essence anywhere in a crafting grid. Position does not matter.
Smithing transform: use a smithing setup with the Abyssal Rune, the wizard item, and the Arcane Essence to produce the upgraded piece.

Both routes yield the same result, so pick whichever is more convenient for the materials and stations you have on hand.

Planning Your Craft

Because the pattern never changes, the set is straightforward to mass-produce once you have gathered your materials. Count your wizard pieces first, then match that number in Abyssal Runes and Arcane Essence.

If you are short on any single ingredient, you can still upgrade pieces one at a time. Each recipe is independent, so there is no requirement to craft the set in any particular order.

Practical Notes

Keep your old wizard gear rather than discarding it — it is the base for every upgrade here. The Abyssal Rune and Arcane Essence are the only additional inputs, and they are consumed once per piece.

The Abyssal Warlock Mask is worth calling out separately: its base item is a wizard hat, not a helmet, so do not substitute the wrong head slot item when preparing materials.

For the rest of the set, match the wizard piece to the slot you want: helmet to hood, robes to robes, leggings to leggings, and boots to greaves. Get that pairing right and the recipe will accept your ingredients through either the shapeless craft or the smithing transform.
