Sewing Traditional Robes and Attire with the Tailoring Table in ChangShengJue

guide

The Tailoring Table provides traditional garment crafting, enabling players to fashion lightweight silk robes, animal hide footwear, and protective traveling hats in ChangShengJue. These garments offer distinct historical style and survival utility across wilderness exploration.

Crafting the Tailoring Table

Setting up a textile workshop requires basic timber, silk sheets, and cutting shears. In a crafting table, arrange the following items:

  • Top row: two silk sheets on the left and center, with one pair of shears on the right.
  • Middle row: three wooden planks.
  • Bottom row: three wooden planks.

This combination produces one Tailoring Table block. Placing the table provides an interactive cutting bench complete with authentic fabric cutting sound effects.

Tailoring Mechanics and Garment Production

Right-clicking the tailoring table opens an interface cataloging all wearable textile patterns. Similar to the forge furnace, the tailoring bench detects raw materials in the player's inventory and deducts them automatically upon selecting an outfit.

Key tailoring materials include:

  • Silk: Harvested from silkworms and mulberry leaves, silk serves as the premium base for court attire, robes, and flowing sashes.
  • Cotton: Cultivated from cotton crops, providing accessible everyday fabric for warm winter garments.
  • Animal skins and feathers: Harvested from wildlife such as crocodiles, deer, and peacocks to reinforce outdoor gear.

Crafting Historical Attire and Hats

Artisans can tailor a wide array of functional clothing suited for travelers and martial artists:

  • Crafting a Bamboo Hat requires one bamboo plank, shielding travelers from rain and harsh weather.
  • Combining one silk sheet with one bamboo plank crafts a Bamboo Hat with Veil, concealing the wearer behind flowing translucent cloth.
  • Sewing one silk sheet produces a flowing Cloak or a delicate Cicada Wing Scarf.
  • Combining one crocodile skin with one leather piece crafts sturdy Animal Skin Boots, durable footwear suited for muddy riverbanks and wetland treks.
  • Combining one crocodile skin, one silk sheet, and one gold ingot tailors the regal Flying fish wear, the iconic uniform worn by elite imperial court guards.
  • Additional tailored items include traveler caps and lightweight cotton boots, giving explorers stylish attire suited for serene garden pavilions and mountain monasteries.
