Cosmopolitan Tubs, Create Filling and Cross-Mod Cooking
This guide covers how Cosmopolitan's tub blocks work as a system and how much of the mod depends on other mods being installed.
Three tub categories, and what their sizes imply
- Tub Extracting — 142 recipes
- Tub Injecting — 55 recipes
- Tub Interacting — 47 recipes
Extraction outnumbering injection by nearly three to one is the shape of the system: the tub is primarily how you pull components out of ingredients, with injecting and interacting as the smaller return paths.
At 244 recipes combined, this is the mod's core and the only part that is entirely self-contained.
Create integration is larger than it looks
Six Create categories appear in Cosmopolitan's recipe list:
That is 280 recipes, more than the mod's own tub system and more than its crafting list. Filling and emptying dominate because Cosmopolitan works in liquids, and Create's fluid handling is the natural fit.
None of it functions without Create installed.
Three more food mods hook in
Farmer's Delight contributes Cutting at 42 recipes and Cooking at 3. Brewin' and Chewin' adds Keg Pouring at 22 and Fermenting at 12. Casualness Delight and Frycook's Delight each add 3 recipes for deep frying and frying.
The Farmer's Delight cutting board at 42 recipes is the most useful of these, and Farmer's Delight is common enough that most packs running Cosmopolitan will have it.
Reading the mod honestly
Of roughly 900 recipes, only the 292 crafting and 244 tub entries work standalone. The rest — around 360 — require a partner mod. That is not a flaw; it is what the mod is for. But it does mean the wiki's recipe list describes a fully-loaded pack rather than a minimal install.
No structures
Cosmopolitan generates no worldgen structures. Everything is grown or made.

The vanilla stations barely feature
Smelting and Smoking hold 6 recipes each, Campfire Cooking 5 and Smithing Transform 2. Nineteen recipes across four vanilla categories, against 244 in the tubs and 280 through Create, is the clearest measure of how little of this mod runs on standard equipment.
Items over blocks
443 pages across 320 items and 123 blocks. Cosmopolitan is a mod of ingredients and finished dishes rather than of furniture, and the blocks that exist are mostly the tubs and the crops that feed them.
