The Amulet in Cracker's Wither Storm Mod tracks the living presence of the Wither Storm across vast distances, guiding survivors toward allies and warning of impending devastation. Navigating a world ravaged by the storm requires specialized detection instruments, mobility bundles, and curative meals.

Assembling and Empowering the Amulet

The Amulet is an intricate gem-studded locator device.

To craft the base Amulet in a crafting table:

  • Gold Ingot occupies the four corners (4 Gold Ingot total).
  • Place 1 Diamond in the top center slot.
  • Place 1 Redstone Dust in the middle left, 1 Lapis Lazuli in the center, and 1 Emerald in the middle right.
  • Place 1 Iron Ingot in the bottom center slot.

This consumes 4 Gold Ingot, 1 Diamond, 1 Redstone Dust, 1 Lapis Lazuli, 1 Emerald, and 1 Iron Ingot to produce 1 Amulet.

To unlock full tracking capabilities, combine 1 Amulet with 1 Chorus Fruit and 1 Eye of Ender shapelessly in a crafting grid. The empowered amulet points its internal needle toward active storm centers.

Calibrating the Phasometer

The Phasometer is a diagnostic scanner that reads the storm's current evolutionary stage and atmospheric agitation.

To craft 1 Phasometer:

  • Place 1 Black Dye in the top center slot.
  • Place 1 Stone Button in the middle left, 1 Spyglass in the center, and 1 Redstone Dust in the middle right.
  • Place 1 Redstone Repeater in the bottom center slot.

To upgrade its scanning range, combine the device with End minerals:

  • Place Eye of Ender in the top center and bottom center (2 Eye of Ender total).
  • Place Diamond in the middle left and middle right (2 Diamond total).
  • Place 1 Phasometer in the center slot.

This reinforces the scanner for long-range environmental telemetry.

Survival Rations and Evasion Tools

Direct contact with the storm inflicts severe wither affliction that standard milk buckets cannot remedy.

To cure this debuff, cook Golden Apple Stew:

  • Combine 1 Wither Rose, 1 Suspicious Stew, 1 Golden Apple, and 1 Slimeball in a crafting table to produce 1 Golden Apple Stew.
  • Consuming this curative stew cleanses infection and restores vital resilience.

For emergency escapes when caught in tractor beams:

  • Craft 1 Firework Bundle by placing 1 Barrel in the center and surrounding it with 8 Firework Rocket items.
  • Activating the bundle launches a rapid multi-rocket burst, propelling players clear of grasping tentacles.
