Polished Cut Amethyst and Dolomite Stairs, Slabs, and Walls
Polished cut amethyst and polished cut dolomite stairs, slabs, and walls are decorative building pieces added by Create: Design n' Decor, and each one can be made either at a crafting table or through stonecutting. The set covers both materials in the same three shapes, so you can carry a single look across a full build without switching palettes.
What These Blocks Are
Create: Design n' Decor is a Create addon centered on quality-of-life decoration features. It expands on Create's existing decoration options while responding to community feedback, and it includes variants of normal blocks such as new crushing wheels, containers, and extra blocks meant to fit alongside Create's style.
The polished cut amethyst and polished cut dolomite families fit that goal. Stairs, slabs, and walls are the standard shape variants builders use for rooflines, layered floors, and borders, and this mod provides them for both materials. The amethyst pieces keep the purple tone of amethyst, while the dolomite pieces offer a neutral stone option. Because both materials share the same three shapes, you can mix them in one structure and keep the geometry consistent.
Crafting Table Recipes
Every piece in this set has a shaped crafting recipe. The input is always the polished cut block of the matching material, and the output is the shape you want.

Notice the pattern: stairs and walls each take six blocks, while slabs take three. If you are producing a large batch, plan your polished cut block supply around those counts.
Stonecutting Recipes
Each of the six pieces also has a stonecutting recipe, which gives you a second route to the same result. The input here is the cut block rather than the polished cut block.

The stonecutter route starts one step earlier in the chain, since it accepts the cut block instead of the polished cut block. That makes it useful when you already have cut material on hand and want to skip a processing step before turning it into stairs, slabs, or walls.
Choosing Between the Two Methods
Both methods produce the same blocks, so the choice comes down to what you have available and how much control you want over the output.
- Use the crafting table when you already have polished cut blocks and want to convert them directly. The counts are fixed: six for stairs, three for slabs, six for walls.
- Use the stonecutter when you are working from cut blocks and want to go straight to the shape you need.
- Keep both routes in mind when planning a build, since the stonecutter accepts a different input than the crafting recipe.
Because the recipes are mirrored across amethyst and dolomite, once you learn the pattern for one material you can apply it to the other without checking again.
