Managing Liquid Experience and Mechanical Disenchanting
guide
Extracting pure Liquid Experience from surplus enchanted items in Create: Enchantment Industry centers on the kinetic
Mechanical Grindstone. Rather than wasting magical power through manual grinding, factory networks can strip enchantments into liquid form, bottle it for storage, or compact it into solid blocks.
Constructing the Mechanical Grindstone
Disenchanting equipment automatically requires assembling a dedicated rotational grindstone:
- Crafting layout: In a crafting table, place eight pieces of andesite alloy around a single central shaft.
- Kinetic operation: Mount the
Mechanical Grindstone above a fluid collection basin or fluid drain. Powering the shaft with rotational force spins the grinding wheel. - Automated stripping: Dropping enchanted gear onto the spinning wheel strips all applied enchantments, washing the residual magic down into the drain as pure Liquid Experience while preserving the unenchanted base item on an output belt.
Fluid Extraction and Emptying Stations
Beyond stripping gear, industrial factories can convert physical experience items into pumpable fluids:
- Emptying bottles: Feeding a bottle o' enchanting into a fluid emptying station uncorks the vessel, recovering an empty glass bottle and discharging 10mb of Liquid Experience into connected pipes.
- Grinding solid nuggets and blocks: Passing solid experience blocks across the
Mechanical Grindstone rapidly converts them into liquid:- Grinding a
Block of Experience yields 27 units of Liquid Experience. - Grinding a single
Nugget of Experience yields 3 units of Liquid Experience. - Grinding high-density super blocks yields 27 units of fluid, while individual super nuggets yield 3 units.
- Grinding a
Compacting and Bottling Liquid Experience
Once collected inside fluid tanks, experience can be packaged for transport or player consumption:
- Mechanical compacting: Pumping 27mb of Liquid Experience into a basin beneath a mechanical press compacts the fluid into one solid
Block of Experience. This block allows dense physical storage of experience without consuming tank capacity. - Automated bottling: Positioning a fluid spout above a conveyor line carrying empty glass bottles fills each bottle with Liquid Experience to produce fresh bottles o' enchanting for trading or remote use.
- Assembling the
Experience Lantern: In a crafting table, stack one
Block of Experience in the top slot, a sponge in the center slot, and a copper casing in the bottom slot. This illuminated lantern radiates light fueled by concentrated experience. - Crafting an
Experience Hatch: Combine an existing fluid hatch with a
Block of Experience to construct a dedicated access port for fluid tanks.
Baking Cakes of Enchanting
For communal celebrations or massive player leveling, liquid experience can be baked into edible confectioneries:
- Compacting the cake base: In a mechanical mixer or compacting basin, combine an egg, sugar, and lapis lazuli to press a
Cake Base o' Enchanting. - Infusing the cake: Pumping 1000mb of Liquid Experience through a spout onto the cake base produces a shimmering
Cake o' Enchanting. - Slicing and serving: Slicing the completed cake with a mechanical saw or cutting knife yields four
Cake Slice o' Enchanting portions, providing immediate magical nourishment.
