Create Nuclear: Early Materials and Processing
Create Nuclear introduces a nuclear system that integrates with the Create mod, enabling the automated production of significant power. This guide covers essential early-game materials and basic processing techniques.
Core Materials
To begin with Create Nuclear, you will need to acquire various new resources.
Raw Uranium is a key material for powering reactors. It can be obtained from 
Deepslate Uranium Ore through either blasting or smelting. Alternatively, a 
Raw Uranium Block can be crafted into Raw Uranium using a shapeless recipe.
Raw Lead is another important resource. It can be obtained by crafting a 
Raw Lead Block into Raw Lead using a shapeless recipe.
Basic Processing
Several processing methods are available for refining raw materials into usable forms.
Crushing
The Crushing process is used to convert raw materials into powders or dusts. This process has eight distinct recipes. For example, 
Coal can be crushed to produce 
Coal Dust. Another example is crushing 
Crushed Raw Uranium to yield nine units of 
Uranium Powder.
Blasting
Blasting is a method for smelting certain raw materials into ingots. 
Crushed Raw Lead, 
Deepslate Lead Ore, and Raw Lead can all be blasted to produce a 
Lead Ingot.
Crafting
Ingots can also be formed through crafting. Nine 
Lead Nugget items can be combined in a shaped recipe to create a Lead Ingot. A 
Lead Block can be crafted into a Lead Ingot using a shapeless recipe.
These initial steps in material acquisition and processing lay the groundwork for engaging with Create Nuclear's advanced nuclear systems.
Steel, before anything else
The reactor is built out of steel, and steel comes from Create's mixer: Coal Dust plus an 
Iron Ingot makes a 
Steel Ingot. Since coal dust is itself crushed coal, a crushing wheel and a mixer are the two machines to have running before you start on reactor parts.
Lead has three routes
Lead is the mod's other structural metal, and every path leads to the same ingot — Raw Lead, Deepslate Lead Ore and Crushed Raw Lead all smelt or blast into a Lead Ingot. Blasting is simply faster; nothing is lost either way.

The controller is the real gate: a nether star means a Wither before a reactor.
Decoration on the side
Nineteen stonecutting recipes cover the autunite block family — 
Cut Autunite cuts into pillars, brick slabs, stairs and walls — and those counts are identical on both versions, unlike most of this mod.
Version differences are large
Crafting is 104 recipes on 1.21.1 against 63 on 1.20.1, while smithing transform is 64 on 1.20.1 and zero on 1.21.1. Check your version before following any recipe list for this mod.
