Skin & Export
feature
Overview
The Skin & Export feature lets you save your custom model as a skin so players without the mod can still see it on multiplayer servers, encoding the model into unused parts of the skin. It also offers other export types, such as a Base64 string for map developers and server owners, or a model file loadable from the Skin customization menu. You can additionally upload a skin to minecraft.net, though this changes your current Minecraft skin and cannot be done while in-game.
