How to Open the Custom Splash Screen Config and Find Its Settings
The Custom Splash Screen Config is the screen where this mod's options live. Everything the mod offers is adjusted from that one interface, so opening it is the first step before changing anything about the loading screen.
Opening the config
The config is not reached through crafting, chat commands, or an item. It is an interface screen, and you open it with a hotkey. That hotkey is not fixed by the mod; it is assigned in the standard controls menu, the same place where other key bindings are managed. Look for the entry tied to this mod's config action, give it a key, then press that key in game to bring the screen up. If nothing happens when you press it, the binding has not been set yet.
Once the screen is open, you will see the mod's settings laid out for editing. Close it the same way you close other screens, and your choices are kept.
What you can change
The settings fall into a few groups. Each one is a labeled control on the config screen.
Progress bar options
- Progress Bar Background — toggles the background behind the bar.
- Progress Bar Color — sets the color of the bar itself.
- Progress Bar Frame Color — sets the color of the frame around the bar.
- Progress Bar Background Color — sets the color of the area behind the bar.
- Custom Progress Bar Mode — switches the bar into its custom behavior instead of the default look.
Color settings are picked from the screen's own color controls, so you choose the shade directly rather than typing a value somewhere else.
Logo option
- Use Blending on Logo — turns blending on or off for the logo, which changes how the logo's edges and transparency are handled.
Spinning circle options
- Spinning Circle Size — controls how large the spinning circle appears.
- Spinning Circle Speed — controls how fast it turns.
- Spinning Circle Trail Length — controls how long the trailing effect behind the circle is.
Working through the settings
Open the config first, then move through the controls in whatever order suits you. If you want a different bar appearance, start with Custom Progress Bar Mode, then adjust the colors and the background toggle to match. If you would rather change the logo, use Use Blending on Logo. If the spinning circle is what you want to tune, the size, speed, and trail length settings are all on the same screen and can be combined freely.
Because the config is a screen and not a block or item, there is nothing to place, craft, or combine. You do not need any materials, and no recipe is involved. The only requirement is that the mod is present and that you have given its config action a key in the controls menu.
If the screen will not open
Check the controls menu first. A missing or conflicting key binding is the usual reason a config screen does not appear. Assign the action to a key that nothing else uses, then try again. If the key works but the screen looks empty, the settings are still there; they are simply listed as labeled controls, and you may need to scroll or resize the window to see all of them.
Quick reference
- Open the config with the corresponding hotkey (set it in the controls menu).
- Bar appearance: Custom Progress Bar Mode, Progress Bar Color, Progress Bar Frame Color, Progress Bar Background Color, Progress Bar Background.
- Logo appearance: Use Blending on Logo.
- Spinning circle: Spinning Circle Size, Spinning Circle Speed, Spinning Circle Trail Length.
That is the whole set of options the mod exposes, and all of them are reached from the Custom Splash Screen Config screen after you bind and press its hotkey.
