Configuring the Drippy Loading Screen Loading Bar, Logo, Watermark, and Progress Percent
Drippy Loading Screen gives you direct control over the pieces that appear while the game loads. Everything is handled through its own interface rather than through crafting or commands. The main entry point is the Customize Loading Screen button, which opens the editor where the bar, logo, watermark, and percentage are arranged.
Opening the Editor
The Customize Loading Screen button is tied to FancyMenu's menu bar. If the menu bar is hidden, this button disappears with it. When you open the editor, a CLICK HERE TO CUSTOMIZE! prompt appears to confirm the screen is in editing mode.
There is also a separate Customize EARLY Loading Screen option. This targets NeoForge's early loading screen, the plain screen shown before Drippy's own screen takes over. It requires the "Drippy Early Loading Module" to be present. Without that module, a module missing notice appears explaining that the dependency is required.
The Loading Bar
Two bar styles exist. The vanilla bar option, labeled Vanilla-Like Game Loading Bar, mimics the standard bar. Its description notes that it only shows genuine progress when placed inside a Drippy layout. The other style is the loading progress percent element, labeled Loading Progress [Percent], which reads the current load percentage as a number.
To skin the bar, use set background to choose a Set Bar Background Image, and set progress to choose a Set Bar Progress Image. Move the bar with Set Bar Position Offset.
The Logo and Watermark
Place and adjust the logo using Set Logo Position Offset. For the watermark, use Set Watermark Position Offset to move it, Set Watermark Size to scale it, and set image to choose a Set Watermark Image.
Background and Color
A background image is assigned with set image under Set Background Image. Toggle preserve aspect ratio for Preserve Background Aspect Ratio, or use Restore Aspect Ratio to return to the default. A Configure Color Background option provides a plain color fill; its desc describes it as a simple HEX color background. Enter the value in the Color [HEX] field. If the entry is not valid, an invalid color message appears telling you to supply a proper HEX color first.
Fading, Textures, and Layouts
fade out loading screen, shown as Fade-In/Out Loading Screen, makes the screen fade in and out like the standard one, though it only fades in during resource reloads. early fade out elements makes elements begin fading before the background does. Wait For Textures in Loading holds textures until they are ready so they do not flicker during reloads; turn it off if you get freezes. Allow Universal Layouts controls whether universal layouts apply to the loading screen.
Early Loading Screen Options
For the early screen, Set Early Loading Window Size and Set Early Loading Window Title change its dimensions and title text. Early Loading Preview shows how it will look. Hide Logger Overlay removes the log overlay.
Moving Elements
Position changes rely on offset controls rather than dragging alone. Each offset setting nudges its element, and the corresponding hotkey for any bound action can be assigned in the controls menu.
