Finding Structures in the Nether

This guide explains how to locate various structures added by Dungeons and Taverns within the Nether dimension.

Nether Keeps and Ports

Two structures, the Nether Keep and the Nether Port, are found in the Nether. Both of these structures generate within regions that also contain vanilla Nether Fortresses.

To find a Nether Keep or a Nether Port:

Look in areas where Nether Fortresses normally appear.
Each structure attempts to generate once per 85x85 chunk region.
They will be placed at least 40 chunks apart from other instances of the same structure.
Both the Nether Keep and Nether Port modify the default monster spawning behavior within their areas.

Nether Skeleton Towers

There are four types of Nether Skeleton Towers, each found in specific Nether biomes. These towers attempt to generate once per 40x40 chunk region, with at least 20 chunks separating each tower from another of its kind.

The different types of Nether Skeleton Towers and their locations are:

Nether Skeleton Tower Crimson: Found in Crimson Forests.
Nether Skeleton Tower Soul: Found in Soul Sand Valleys.
Nether Skeleton Tower Warped: Found in Warped Forests.
Nether Skeleton Tower Waste: Found in Nether Wastes.
