Ritual Braziers, Chants, and Incense Crafting in Eidolon:Repraised
Ritual Braziers and Their Uses
The Ritual Brazier is a central device for two distinct types of rituals: summoning and crafting. Each brazier type accepts a specific set of recipes, and you will need to prepare the correct brazier for the effect you want.
Ritual Brazier Summoning
This brazier configuration is used to call forth creatures. There are 11 summoning recipes total, each producing a different entity. The known results include a Creeper, Drowned, Husk, Phantom, Raven, Skeleton, Slimy Slug, Stray, Wither Skeleton, Wraith, and a Zombie. To perform a summoning, you must supply the brazier with the proper ritual ingredients (the exact components are not listed here), then activate the ritual. The creature will appear once the ritual completes.
Ritual Brazier Crafting
A separate brazier setup is dedicated to crafting magical items. This configuration has only 2 known recipes. The first produces a
Sanguine Amulet, and the second creates a
Sword of Sapping. As with summoning, you will need to place the correct reagents into the brazier and then trigger the ritual to transform them into the finished item.
Chant Conversion
The Chant Conversion is a process that transforms one item into another through a spoken ritual. There are 4 known conversion recipes:
Gold Inlay converts into a
Holy Symbol.- A
Music Disc can be converted into a different
Music Disc (the specific disc types are not given).
Black Wool converts into a
Top Hat.
Pewter Inlay converts into an
Unholy Symbol.
To use chant conversion, you will need to set up the ritual area, place the source item, and perform the chant. The item will be replaced by its converted form.
Crafting Incense
Incense items are made through shapeless crafting, meaning you can combine the ingredients in any arrangement in your crafting grid. All incense recipes share a base of
Merammer Resin, which is then combined with other components to produce different effects.
Tough Incense
To craft
Tough Incense, combine the following in a shapeless pattern:
Merammer Resin
Sprig of Avenna
Sildrian Seed
Iron Nugget
Amethyst Cluster
This incense is likely used to grant some form of physical resilience, though the exact effect is not detailed here.
Restoration Incense
For
Restoration Incense, use these ingredients:
Merammer Resin
Flowering Oanna
Pink Petals
Glistering Melon Slice
The presence of the glistering melon suggests a healing or restorative property.
Death Bane Incense
To make
Death Bane Incense, gather:
The holy symbol and tattered cloth imply this incense is meant to ward off or harm undead creatures.
Practical Notes
When working with braziers, always double-check which ritual type you are setting up, as summoning and crafting use different configurations. Chant conversion requires you to have the correct source item on hand, and the result will replace it, so do not convert items you need to keep. For incense, since the recipes are shapeless, you only need the correct set of ingredients in your inventory—order does not matter. Collect
Merammer Resin as your primary incense base, and gather the secondary components according to the effect you want to create.
