Mineral Crystal Growth with the Chemical Crystallizer
The Chemical Crystallizer serves as the culminating machine in Electrodynamics mineral processing, turning purified chemical solutions into solid high-purity crystals. Growing mineral crystals allows industrial facilities to achieve maximum ore multiplication yields and produce specialized optical materials.
Constructing the Chemical Crystallizer
The crystallizer requires precision electronic and structural components assembled on a crafting table:
- Four
Steel Plate items placed at the corners. - Two
Elite Circuit components positioned on the top and bottom edges. - Two
Bronze Gear pieces placed on the left and right edges. - One
Motor located in the central slot.
Connecting the machine to a Medium Voltage (MV) power line supplies the electrical energy required to drive internal crystallization cooling coils. The machine features fluid input ports on its sides to accept piped solutions directly from filtration or electrolysis units.
Processing Pure Mineral Solutions
Before chemical crystallization can take place, raw ores must proceed through crushing, washing in sulfuric acid, and electrolytic purification in an electrolysis chamber to yield pure mineral solutions:
- Pure aluminum solution pumped into the crystallizer precipitates into
Aluminum Crystal. - Pure chromium solution crystallizes into
Chromium Crystal. - Pure copper solution yields
Copper Crystal. - Pure gold solution crystallizes into
Gold Crystal. - Pure iron solution yields
Iron Crystal. - Pure lead solution crystallizes into
Lead Crystal. - Pure lithium solution forms
Lithium Crystal. - Pure molybdenum solution yields
Molybdenum Crystal. - Pure silver solution forms
Silver Crystal. - Pure tin solution forms
Tin Crystal. - Pure titanium solution yields
Titanium Crystal. - Pure vanadium solution precipitates into
Vanadium Crystal. - Pure netherite solution crystallizes into
Carbyne Crystal.
Each pure mineral solution requires dedicated fluid piping to avoid cross-contamination in shared intake manifolds.
Industrial Non-Ore Crystallization
In addition to metallic ore crystallization, the machine handles specialized industrial polymer and ceramic conversions:
- Liquid clay pumped into the machine solidifies into standard clay balls without needing manual scooping.
- Liquid polyethylene plastic solution cools and crystallizes into polyethylene fibers used for fiberglass sheets and composite armor.
- Molten lava pumped into the cooling chamber rapidly quenches into solid obsidian blocks.
Crushing harvested mineral crystals in a mineral crusher completes a quadruple ore multiplication loop, maximizing resource yields from mining operations. Installing automated item conduits along the base of the crystallizer pulls finished crystals into storage buffers continuously.
