Render Distance
feature
Overview
The render distance setting determines how much terrain is drawn in the world, with lower values drawing less and thereby boosting frame rates. It works alongside a separate simulation distance that governs how far terrain and entities are loaded and updated, where smaller values ease the internal server's burden.
