Enigmatic Legacy Rings, Charms, and Accessory Trinkets Guide

guide

Enigmatic Legacy adds a collection of rings, charms, and accessory trinkets that grant passive benefits while worn. Each piece fills a different role, from simple early-game convenience to late-game utility that changes how you move through the world. This guide covers what each accessory does and how the upgrades relate to one another.

Iron Ring

The Iron Ring is the most basic accessory in the set. Its design is plain enough that even an unskilled blacksmith could produce one. Its only real cost is ordinary iron, which makes it cheap to craft. The benefit it offers is minor: it may spare one of your fingers from being severed in some future mishap. It will not protect your neck, so do not expect it to save you from a beheading.

Exquisite Ring

Reforging the Iron Ring with a modest amount of extra work and precious gold produces the Exquisite Ring. This version is shinier and more ornate than its predecessor. Its notable property is that Piglins treat the wearer the way they treat someone in gold armor. They show more respect and will not attack the moment you enter their view.

Magnetic Ring

The Magnetic Ring looks simple, but it carries real arcane power. Anything lying on the ground near you gets pulled toward you, so you do not have to walk over and pick it up by hand. It also affects items you try to discard: they refuse to leave and immediately try to return to your inventory. You can suppress the ring's power if you genuinely want to drop something.

Dislocation Ring

The Dislocation Ring is the long-awaited upgrade to the Magnetic Ring and improves on it in every way. It is infused with a portion of The End's mystical energy. Its area of effect is twice that of its predecessor. Rather than pulling dropped items toward you, it pulls you toward the items. For all practical purposes, affected items behave as though you were standing beside them, so you effectively exist in several places at once. It also inherits the earlier ring's trait of preventing your own items from dropping unless you fully suppress its power.

Ring of Ender

An Ender Chest lets you reach stored items across any distance and any dimension, and its contents survive even if your body is destroyed. The drawback is physical: you must carry the chest, place it down to retrieve something, then remove it with a delicate tool or risk shattering it into obsidian fragments. The Ring of Ender solves this by letting you tear open a rift and access your ender chest through willpower alone. Remember to pull your hand back out when you close the rift.

Miner's Dream

Valuable metals and minerals usually sit far below the surface, so mining means long hours in cold, damp, dark tunnels. The Miner's Dream charm does not remove that work, but it makes the time less gloomy and tedious. It lets you break blocks much faster than normal, see in the dark as well as you would in daylight, and use your pickaxe on targets from a considerably greater distance. It may also slightly improve your luck when hunting for treasure, though that last part might only be rumor.
