Crafting Etheria’s Advanced Tools, Decor, and Elemental Pedestals
The Ether Mirror, Anvil, and Prism
The
Ether Mirror is a central crafting component for advanced progression. To make one, you need a shaped recipe that places
Ether Shard x4,
Ether Orb x2,
Ether Fragment x2, and a single
Ether Essence in a specific pattern. Arrange the four shards in the corners, the two orbs in the middle edges, the two fragments in the remaining edge slots, and put the essence in the center square. This item is not a simple tool but a crafted component used in later recipes.
The
Ether Anvil is a functional and decorative block built from a shaped recipe. You will need
Ether Ingot x2, a standard
Anvil,
Chiseled Polished Blackstone x2, and one
Blackstone block. Place the Ether Ingots in the top-left and top-right corners, the Anvil in the center, the Chiseled Polished Blackstone in the middle-left and middle-right slots, and the Blackstone in the bottom-center. The result is a durable anvil that fits the mod’s dark stone aesthetic.
The
Ether Prism follows a similar shaped pattern but uses different core materials. Its recipe calls for
Ether Shard x2, an
Ether Core,
Chiseled Polished Blackstone x2, and one
Blackstone. Put the two Ether Shards in the top-left and top-right corners, the Ether Core in the center, the chiseled blackstone in the middle-left and middle-right positions, and the plain Blackstone at the bottom-center. This prism likely serves as a light or energy manipulation block, though its exact function is tied to your crafting needs.
Building the Ether Pedestal
The
Ether Pedestal is a shaped crafting result that forms the base for two elemental variants. Its recipe uses
Ether Shard x2,
Blackstone x4, and
Polished Blackstone x1. Place the two Ether Shards in the top-left and top-right corners. Fill the entire middle row (three slots) with Blackstone, and place the final Blackstone in the bottom-left slot. Put the Polished Blackstone in the bottom-right corner. This yields a clean pedestal block suitable for display or further modification.
Elemental Pedestal Upgrades
You can transform a standard
Ether Pedestal into one of two elemental versions using a shapeless recipe. This means the ingredients can be placed anywhere in the crafting grid; order does not matter.
To create a
Cryo Pedestal, combine one
Ether Pedestal with one
Ice Crystal. The resulting block is themed around cold and freezing effects. Use it when you need a pedestal that matches a frost-based build or mechanic.
To create a
Pyro Pedestal, combine one
Ether Pedestal with one
Thawing Crystal. Despite the name, the Thawing Crystal is the key ingredient for the fire-aligned pedestal. This variant suits heat-themed areas or recipes that call for a flame-infused support block.
Both upgraded pedestals keep the same base shape as the Ether Pedestal but gain a distinct elemental identity. Since the recipes are shapeless, you can craft them quickly without worrying about exact placement.
Practical Crafting Notes
- Gather
Blackstone and
Polished Blackstone early, as they appear in multiple recipes.
Ether Shards are the most common ingredient across these recipes, so stockpile them.- The
Ether Mirror and
Ether Prism both require rarer components like
Ether Orbs, Fragments, and Cores — save those for their specific recipes rather than using them elsewhere. - If you already have an
Ether Pedestal, do not craft a second one just for an elemental upgrade; you can upgrade the one you have directly. - The
Cryo Pedestal and
Pyro Pedestal are mutually exclusive variants — you cannot combine them back into a plain Ether Pedestal.
These blocks and items give you a solid foundation for building specialized structures or advancing your equipment. Start with the Ether Pedestal, then decide whether you need the cold or hot version for your current project. The Anvil and Prism are more involved, so ensure you have the correct shaped pattern before committing your materials.
