Exposure Crafting Guide: Lightroom and Essential Recipes

guide

Lightroom Block

The Lightroom is a utility block used for processing photographs. Its crafting recipe is a shaped pattern that combines an Iron Trapdoor, a Redstone Torch, and four Oak Planks. Arrange these items in the crafting grid with the iron trapdoor at the top center, the redstone torch directly beneath it, and the oak planks filling the remaining lower slots to create the block.

Core Crafting Recipes

The mod includes eleven distinct crafting recipes. Below are the essential ones for creating cameras, film, and related accessories.

Cameras and Stands

  • Camera: Combine a Lever, six Iron Ingots, one Oak Button, and a Colorless Glass Pane. The lever sits at the top center, the button at the bottom center, and the iron ingots fill the side and middle rows, with the glass pane in the center.
  • Camera Stand: Use one Iron Ingot, four Sticks, and two Smooth Stone Slabs. Place the iron ingot at the top center, sticks in the four cardinal positions around it, and the smooth stone slabs at the bottom left and bottom right to form a stable tripod base.

Film Types

Film recipes share a common layout: a central metal nugget, two secondary materials, two metal ingots, two accelerants, and two drying agents. The exact ingredients determine the film's properties.

  • Black and White Film: Place an Iron Nugget in the center. Surround it with two Bone Meal (left and right), two Iron Ingots (top and bottom), two Gunpowder (upper-left and upper-right), and two Dried Kelp (lower-left and lower-right).
  • Color Film: Swap the iron for a Gold Nugget and replace the bone meal with two Lapis Lazuli. The rest of the layout uses two Gold Ingots, two Gunpowder, and two Dried Kelp in the same positions.
  • High-Sensitivity Black and White Film: Follow the black and white film recipe, but replace the two Gunpowder with two Prismarine Crystals. This yields film that performs better in low-light conditions.
  • High-Sensitivity Color Film: Use a Gold Nugget, two Lapis Lazuli, two Gold Ingots, two Prismarine Crystals, and two Dried Kelp in the standard film arrangement.

Frames and Albums

  • Photograph Frame: Crafted from four Sticks, four Oak Planks, and one Item Frame. Place the item frame in the center, sticks at the four corners, and oak planks filling the remaining edge slots.
  • Glass Photograph Frame: Combine four Glass Panes with one Photograph Frame. Surround the frame with the glass panes on all four sides to create a protected display case.
  • Photo Album: Mix one Book and Quill with one Phantom Membrane. Place the book in the center and the membrane directly above it to bind the pages together.

Projection Device

  • Interplanar Projector: Arrange four Tinted Glass blocks in a diamond shape (top, bottom, left, right), four Redstone Dust in the corners, and one Eye of Ender in the center. This device projects images across dimensions.

Arrangement Notes

All recipes follow standard shaped crafting rules. The positions of ingredients are fixed; you cannot substitute or rearrange them. For film recipes, the layout is symmetrical: the nugget is always central, with the other pairs placed opposite each other. When crafting, ensure you have the exact items listed, as variants like different wood types or glass colors are not interchangeable unless specified by the tag notation (e.g., `#c:nuggets/iron` accepts any iron nugget).
