Preparing Hearty Meals and Desserts
This guide details more complex cooking methods to create a variety of hearty meals and desserts. Farmer's Delight expands farming and cooking in Minecraft, allowing you to prepare many dishes from familiar ingredients.
Desserts

The cutting board is the biggest system in the mod
Farmer's Delight files 106 cutting board recipes — more than any other category except plain crafting, and nearly four times the 28 cooking pot recipes. That ratio is the mod in a nutshell: most of what you do is preparation, not cooking.
If a dish will not come together, the missing step is far more often a cutting board conversion than a pot recipe.
Every heat source is covered
The mod files recipes across all the vanilla appliances rather than replacing them: 10 smelting, 9 smoking, 7 campfire cooking and 2 blasting recipes. Choosing between them is the usual speed-and-fuel decision, not a content one.
Where the addon categories come from
Several categories in the list only appear when other mods are installed — Cloche (4), Crusher (8), Milling (8), Mixing (3), Squeezer (2), Metal Press (1), Fermenter (1) and Filling (1). These are Farmer's Delight recipes for other mods' machines, which is why a pack with Create or Immersive Engineering gets more out of this mod than a vanilla-plus one.
Version parity
Only the crafting list differs at all between builds — 140 recipes on 1.21.1 against 137 on 1.20.1. Every other category is identical, so a preparation guide transfers cleanly between versions.
