Farmer's Respite is an addon for Farmer's Delight built around tea and warm-drink brewing. This guide covers its systems.

Tea and brewing

The mod adds tea and brewing mechanics on top of Farmer's Delight's cooking. You grow and gather tea ingredients, then brew warm drinks that provide their own effects — a cozy complement to the base mod's hearty meals. Teas and similar beverages give buffs suited to exploration and work.

Working with Farmer's Delight

Because Farmer's Respite requires Farmer's Delight, set that up first. The addon then extends your kitchen with its brewing station and drink recipes, using ingredients you cultivate and gather. It shares the base mod's cozy, rustic approach, so it fits neatly alongside your existing cooking setup.

Getting started

Gather the mod's tea ingredients, craft its brewing equipment, and experiment with drink recipes for the effects you want. As a developing addon it keeps growing, but its core loop — grow ingredients, brew drinks, gain buffs — is a natural extension of Farmer's Delight for players who want more than food on the menu.

The kettle is the whole mod

Farmer's Respite files its recipes into seven categories, and four of them sit at almost exactly the same size:

Emptying — 31 recipes
Filling — 31
Kettle Pouring — 31
Brewing — 30
Crafting — 17
Cutting Board — 4, Cooking — 2

That symmetry is the design. Each drink the kettle brews has a matching pour recipe, a fill recipe for getting liquid into a container and an empty recipe for getting it back out. Learn one tea end to end and the pattern repeats across all thirty.

Only sixteen bench recipes

With just 17 crafting recipes against 30 brewing ones, almost nothing here is made at a table. The crafting list is the kettle itself, the tools, and the few blocks — everything you actually drink comes out of the kettle.

Start with the leaves

Brewing needs a leaf or bean before it needs equipment, so the first job is planting rather than building. The four Cutting Board recipes and two Cooking ones are the mod's small food side and can wait.
