Video Export

feature

Overview

Video Export in Flashback renders a recorded scene out to a video, with a setting controlling how often the first-person player's position and angle are sampled per second; raising it to match the intended output framerate is advised when exporting your own first-person view. Another option makes the exporter draw additional dummy frames before each saved frame, which greatly lengthens export time but can be needed for shaders depending on temporal accumulation or mods without FREX Flawless Frames support. Entities can be toggled between hidden and visible during export, and the process reports success when finished or an error if the output location can't be written to, in which case the export remains in a temporary folder.
