Foolish Structure Locations and Loot by Dimension
Overview
This guide covers where each Foolish structure generates and what loot you can expect to find inside. Each structure is tied to a specific dimension or biome, and their placement rules determine how rare they are.
Abandoned Bunker
The Abandoned Bunker appears in the foolish:wasteland and foolish:irradiated_undergrowth biomes. It attempts to generate once per 25x25 chunk region, with a minimum spacing of 15 chunks between bunkers.
Inside, you will find military-style supply crates and storage containers. Loot typically includes ammunition, low-tier armor pieces, canned food, and scrap materials. Medical supplies and radiation protection gear are common finds in these bunkers.
Archaic Library
The Archaic Library is exclusive to the foolish:sands_of_time biome. It attempts one generation per 30x30 chunk region, and libraries are spaced at least 16 chunks apart.
This structure holds ancient knowledge in the form of enchanted books, scrolls, and written records. You can also find bookcases that may yield paper, leather, and occasionally rare enchanted tomes. Potion ingredients and dusty artifacts are scattered among the shelves.
Ashen Temple
The Ashen Temple generates only in the foolish:ashen_woods biome. It attempts one placement per 35x35 chunk region, with a minimum distance of 25 chunks between temples.
The temple’s loot focuses on fire-related and volcanic resources. Expect to find blaze powder, magma cream, obsidian shards, and fire resistance potions. The central altar often holds a unique relic or a high-tier enchanted item, guarded by hostile mobs.
Berserker Base
The Berserker Base is found in the foolish:storm_jungle biome. It attempts one generation per 20x20 chunk region, and bases must be at least 9 chunks apart.
This structure is a combat-oriented outpost. Loot includes weapons, melee-focused enchantments, leather and iron armor, and battle trophies. You may also find food rations and healing items, but the base is typically well-defended by aggressive mobs.
End Keep
The End Keep is the only structure that spawns in the vanilla End biomes: end_barrens, end_highlands, end_midlands, and small_end_islands. It attempts one placement per 100x100 chunk region, with a minimum spacing of 10 chunks.
Due to its large placement area, End Keeps are the rarest structure in Foolish. Loot is high-tier and endgame-oriented: you will find ender pearls, purpur blocks, enchanted diamond gear, and occasionally elytra components. The keep’s inner vault may contain a rare ender artifact.
Glacial Fortress
The Glacial Fortress generates in the foolish:permafrost_fields biome. It attempts one placement per 50x50 chunk region, and fortresses are spaced at least 20 chunks apart.
This icy stronghold holds cold-weather and frost-themed loot. Look for packed ice, snow blocks, frost enchantments, and potions of slow falling. Storage rooms also contain warm clothing, leather armor, and preserved food. A central chamber often holds a unique ice relic.
Summary of Placement
- Abandoned Bunker: wasteland and irradiated undergrowth – 25x25 region, 15-chunk gap
- Archaic Library: sands of time – 30x30 region, 16-chunk gap
- Ashen Temple: ashen woods – 35x35 region, 25-chunk gap
- Berserker Base: storm jungle – 20x20 region, 9-chunk gap
- End Keep: all End biomes – 100x100 region, 10-chunk gap
- Glacial Fortress: permafrost fields – 50x50 region, 20-chunk gap
The spacing rules mean you will never find two identical structures close together. For the rarest loot, prioritize the End Keep and Ashen Temple. For easier early-game finds, search for Berserker Bases and Abandoned Bunkers in their respective biomes. Always bring appropriate gear — each structure has its own hostile inhabitants.
