Forbidden and Arcanus: The Clibano and Rune Crafting
The Clibano combustion furnace is Forbidden and Arcanus's material engine, and runes are its magical currency. This guide covers both.
Clibano combustion
The Clibano runs combustion recipes that go beyond a vanilla furnace. It smelts ores into ingots (copper, gold, iron), produces 
Arcane Crystal and 
Arcane Crystal Dust, and makes advanced materials like 
Obsidiansteel Ingot, Netherite Scrap and 
Rune. It is faster and more capable than a normal furnace, so it becomes your main smelting block.
Runes
Rune is made by smelting or blasting 
Runic Stone, and runes are the components behind the mod's magical devices and rituals. Keeping a stock of runes lets you build the mod's altars and enchanting-style gear.
Residues and blocks
The Clibano's processing leaves residues that the combine residues recipe reforms into useful blocks — the Arcane Crystal Block, metal storage blocks, 
Deorum Nugget and Rune Block — so little is wasted. Between the Clibano, runes and residue recovery, Forbidden and Arcanus turns ordinary mining into a steady supply of magical materials.
