The main machines are the pot, the steamer, and the kettle, and each one draws from its own recipe list. Understanding which machine handles which recipe type is the first step toward cooking anything in the mod.

The Pot and Standard Cooking

The pot handles the mod's standard Cooking recipe type, which contains 43 recipes. These recipes take a set of ingredients and produce a finished dish. Many of them combine multiple components rather than a single item.

A few examples show the range:

Milk Bottle x3 turns into Bowl Of Cream, and Bowl Of Cream x2 turns into Butter, so the pot also covers intermediate ingredients.
Rice + Redbean produces Mochi x2, while Rice + Matcha produces Matcha Mochi x2.
Raw Cod x3 + Cabbage makes Dried Fish, and Raw Cod x2 + Wheat x2 + Sugar makes Imitation Crab x4.

Soybean becomes Hokkaido Salmon Hotpot, Pot of Miso Soup, Pot of Power Soup, or Pot of Seafood Miso Soup.
Tofu becomes Pot of Han Palace, Pot of Shirayuki, or Pot of Tofu Crab Stew.
Raw Cod becomes Pot of Cod Stew, and Red Mushroom becomes Signature Mushroom Stew.

Cuisine Ordered

Cuisine Ordered is another recipe type, with 14 recipes. These focus on sushi and similar rolled or topped dishes, often producing two items at a time.

Examples:

Raw Cod becomes Cod Roll x2, and Raw Salmon becomes Salmon Roll x2.
Tamagoyaki becomes Egg Nigiri x2, and Raw Tuna becomes Tuna Nigiri x2.
Otoro becomes Otoro Nigiri x2, and Kabayaki becomes Lorelei Nigiri x2.
