The Fermentation Tank, Wood Basin, and mixing processes form the core production chain for sauces and ingredients in Gensokyo Delight ~ Youkais' Feasts. Each station handles a different stage: the tank ferments raw materials into new items, the basin presses fruit into juice, and mixing combines fluids and solids into finished products like Butter and Mayonnaise.

Building the Fermentation Tank

The Fermentation Tank is crafted with a shaped recipe:

Mud Bricks x7
Acacia Trapdoor x1
Bucket x1

Arrange these in the crafting grid to produce the tank. This is your primary station for fermentation recipes.

Building the Wood Basin

The Wood Basin uses a cheaper shaped recipe:

Iron Nugget x2
Oak Stairs x2
Oak Slab x1

Combine them in the crafting grid. The basin is used for pressing grapes and similar simple basin recipes.

Simple Basin Recipes

The Wood Basin has 3 recipes, all producing juice at a yield of x50:

Black Grape becomes Black Grape Juice x50
Red Grape becomes Red Grape Juice x50
White Grape becomes White Grape Juice x50

Each grape type maps directly to its matching juice, so keep your grape varieties separated when harvesting.

Mixing Recipes

Mixing has 3 recipes that combine fluids and solid ingredients:

500 mb of youkaisfeasts:cream becomes Butter
Ice Cube + 1000 mb of an unspecified fluid becomes Cream x250
Butter + eggs (tagged #c:eggs) + Sugar becomes Mayonnaise x500

The cream-to-butter conversion and the ice cube recipe feed into each other: you need Cream to make Butter, and Butter is a key input for Mayonnaise.

Filling Soy Sauce Bottles

Soy Sauce Bottle production uses a filling step rather than a crafting recipe:

Glass Bottle + 250 mb of youkaisfeasts:soy_sauce becomes a Soy Sauce Bottle

This means you need a fluid source of soy sauce and a way to fill bottles with it.

Putting the Chain Together

A practical workflow looks like this: ferment Soybean and other crops in the Fermentation Tank to build up sauce and ingredient stocks, press grapes in the Wood Basin for juices, and run mixing operations to turn Cream into Butter and then into Mayonnaise. Fill Glass Bottles with soy sauce when you need bottled seasoning. Because the tank alone holds 16 recipes, it pays to test combinations patiently rather than assume a single output path.
