Goety Cataclysm Guide to Crafting, Rituals, and the Mechanical Fabricator
Crafting, rituals, and the 
Mechanical Fabricator are the three production paths in Goety Cataclysm, and each one serves a different purpose. Crafting handles straightforward conversions, rituals handle the mod's more elaborate focus and equipment recipes, and the Mechanical Fabricator produces servants. This guide covers what each system does and lists the recipes and behaviors the mod provides.
The Crafting System
Crafting covers 12 recipes in total. Many of them turn boss materials and dungeon loot into focus items and intermediate blocks.

The Mechanical Fabricator
The Mechanical Fabricator is a machine built from knowledge passed down by earlier generations, and it produces Watchers that serve you. To summon a Watcher, a Mechanized Iron Block must be inserted into the cage. Its behavior resembles that of the Spider Nest: using a Wand or Staff on the nest toggles a restriction so that a servant only appears when a valid target is nearby. Sneaking while doing this switches the servant between patrolling around the block and trailing its owner.
Essences and Materials
Essence of the Abyss drops from the Leviathan. Collecting it marks your victory over that beast and gives you authority over her subjects.
The Mechanized Iron Block comes from the Ancient Factory. Its machines are built mainly from Iron and Redstone, and the Harbinger carries a large amount of Witherite. Witherite itself is beyond your reach, but the metal used in the rest of the machines is not, which is why Mechanized Iron Block is craftable from Iron Ingot x5 and Redstone Dust x4.
