Crafting Decorative Items in Handcrafted
Handcrafted provides numerous furniture pieces and decorative items to personalize your home. This guide details the crafting recipes for various pots, crockery, and trophies.
Pots
You can create different glazed pots by combining a 
Terracotta Medium Pot with specific glazed terracotta blocks. These recipes are shapeless, meaning the arrangement of ingredients in the crafting grid does not matter.
- To craft a
White Glazed Medium Pot, combine 
White Glazed Terracotta and a Terracotta Medium Pot. - To craft a
Blue Glazed Medium Pot, combine 
Blue Glazed Terracotta and a Terracotta Medium Pot.
Crockery
Crockery items allow for further decoration.
- To craft a
Terracotta Crockery Combo, combine a 
Terracotta Cup and a 
Terracotta Plate. This recipe is shapeless. - To craft a
Yellow Crockery Combo, combine 
Yellow Dye and a Terracotta Crockery Combo. This recipe is also shapeless.
Trophies
Trophies are decorative pieces that can be displayed. These items are crafted using a shaped recipe, requiring specific ingredient placement in the crafting grid.
- To craft a
Wither Skeleton Trophy, place a 
Wither Skeleton Skull in the center of the crafting grid, surrounded by eight 
Oak Planks. - To craft a
Phantom Trophy, place three 
Chain items and two Oak Planks along with a 
Phantom Membrane. The Phantom Membrane goes in the center slot of the crafting grid's middle row. The two Oak Planks occupy the slots directly above and below the Phantom Membrane. The three Chain items fill the remaining slots in the middle row and the two outer slots of the top row.
The shape of the mod
Handcrafted is 250 blocks and 35 items built on 317 crafting recipes and nothing else — no machine, no workstation, no processing step. Every piece of furniture in it is made in an ordinary crafting grid, which is why the mod works in any pack without dependencies.
The near one-to-one ratio of recipes to blocks tells you the rest: almost every block is a single craft, with no intermediate parts to prepare first.
Both versions are identical
The 1.21.1 build (4.0.3) and the 1.20.1 build (3.0.6) both carry the same 317 recipes. Unusually for a mod with a version jump that size, nothing was added or removed between them, so a build tutorial written for either version applies exactly to the other.
Working with the decorative pieces
Pots, crockery and trophies are the pieces most often placed one at a time rather than in sets, which makes them the cheapest way to make a room look finished. Because none of them need a workstation, it is worth carrying the ingredients rather than the finished blocks when you are decorating at a distance — a stack of raw material covers several different pieces, where finished furniture does not.
