Crafting Shaped Armor Sets from Zenalite, Dreadsteel, and Themed Materials
Crafting shaped armor sets from Zenalite, Dreadsteel, and themed materials lets you build powerful chestpieces, leggings, boots, and hoods with distinct identities. Each recipe follows a shaped pattern and combines a base piece of armor with ingots, runes, and a mold or runestone. The sections below cover every armor recipe available for these materials.
Dreadsteel Knight Armor
The Dreadsteel Knight set uses
Dreadsteel Ingots,
Melee Runes, a
Divine Mold, and diamond armor pieces as its base. Every piece in the set requires the
Divine Mold and two
Melee Runes, so gather those first before crafting.
Dreadsteel Knight Chestplate: Combine
Dreadsteel Ingot x5, a
Diamond Chestplate,
Melee Rune x2, and a
Divine Mold in a shaped recipe.
Dreadsteel Knight Leggings: Combine
Melee Rune x2, a
Divine Mold,
Dreadsteel Ingot x4, and
Diamond Leggings in a shaped recipe.
Dreadsteel Knight Boots: Combine
Melee Rune x2, a
Divine Mold,
Dreadsteel Ingot x2, and
Diamond Boots in a shaped recipe.
Dreadsteel Knight Hood: Combine
Melee Rune x2,
Dreadsteel Ingot x3, a
Diamond Helmet, and a
Divine Mold in a shaped recipe.
Note that the ingot counts differ by piece: the chestplate needs five, the leggings four, the hood three, and the boots two. The diamond armor base also changes per slot, matching the piece you are crafting. The
Divine Mold and the two
Melee Runes stay constant across the whole set.
Blazeborne Chestplate
The
Blazeborne Chestplate is built around Zenalite and fire-themed materials. It uses a
Pyromancer Robe as its base rather than a diamond chestplate, and it calls for
Fire Runes instead of melee ones.
Blazeborne Chestplate: Combine
Zenalite Ingot x5, a
Pyromancer Robe,
Fire Rune x2, and a
Divine Mold in a shaped recipe.
This recipe follows the same overall structure as the Dreadsteel Knight chestplate, with five ingots, two runes, a mold, and a base armor piece. The difference lies in the material types:
Zenalite Ingots replace
Dreadsteel Ingots,
Fire Runes replace
Melee Runes, and the
Pyromancer Robe replaces the
Diamond Chestplate.
Chlorophyte Chestplate
The
Chlorophyte Chestplate takes a different approach. It does not use a
Divine Mold or any runes. Instead, it pairs
Chlorophyte Ingots with a
Netherite Chestplate and
Blank Runestones.
Chlorophyte Chestplate: Combine
Chlorophyte Ingot x6, a
Netherite Chestplate, and
Blank Runestone x2 in a shaped recipe.
This recipe uses six ingots, one more than the Dreadsteel Knight and Blazeborne chestplates, and swaps the rune and mold components for two
Blank Runestones. The base armor is a
Netherite Chestplate, which is a higher tier than the diamond bases used elsewhere.
Gathering Materials Before Crafting
Because all of these recipes are shaped, arrange the ingredients in the correct pattern on the crafting grid rather than placing them anywhere. Before you start, decide which set you want and collect the matching components:
- For the Dreadsteel Knight set, stock up on
Dreadsteel Ingots,
Melee Runes,
Divine Molds, and the appropriate diamond armor pieces. - For the
Blazeborne Chestplate, gather
Zenalite Ingots,
Fire Runes, a
Divine Mold, and a
Pyromancer Robe. - For the
Chlorophyte Chestplate, collect
Chlorophyte Ingots,
Blank Runestones, and a
Netherite Chestplate.
The
Divine Mold appears in every Dreadsteel Knight piece and in the Blazeborne Chestplate, so it is a shared requirement across those recipes. The Chlorophyte Chestplate is the only recipe here that skips the mold entirely and uses runestones instead. Plan your material gathering around these shared and unique components so you do not end up short on runes, ingots, or molds partway through a set.
