Spirit Infusion Recipes and the Powerful Gear They Unlock
Spirit Infusion recipes and the powerful gear they unlock form one of the main progression paths in Hazen 'n Stuff. The mechanic takes an existing item and transforms it into a stronger one, and the results feed directly into some of the mod's best equipment. There are 6 Spirit Infusion recipes in total, and each one upgrades a lesser item into a more advanced version of itself.
How Spirit Infusion Works
Spirit Infusion is a conversion process. You bring in one item and receive a stronger item in return. The recipes follow a clear ladder of upgrades, so the output of one infusion can become the input for another. That chaining behavior is what makes the mechanic worth learning early: skipping a step means losing access to everything above it.
The 6 recipes are:
- Advanced -> Abomination
- Abomination -> Absolute
- Reinforced -> Radiance
- Refined -> Reinforced
- Strengthened -> Singularity
- Sacred -> Strengthened
Read that list as two separate upgrade lines plus the links between them.
Advanced becomes
Abomination, and
Abomination becomes
Absolute. On the other line,
Refined becomes
Reinforced,
Reinforced becomes
Radiance,
Sacred becomes
Strengthened, and
Strengthened becomes
Singularity.
Notice that
Reinforced sits in the middle of its chain. It is both the result of infusing
Refined and the ingredient for producing
Radiance. The same logic applies to
Strengthened, which comes from
Sacred and then feeds into
Singularity. Plan your materials around these middle steps, because you will need to craft or obtain the lower item before you can push further up.
Cores and Spellbooks
Several of the mod's magical items depend on materials that come from other processing routes.
Solar Core is produced by smelting or blasting either
Blackstone Solar Core Ore or
Netherrack Solar Core Ore. Both ore variants work in both a furnace and a blast furnace, so you are not locked into a single machine for this step.
The Energized Core Spellbook is a shaped crafting recipe. It requires
Storm Weave x4, a
Lightning Rune,
Volt Core x2, an
Energized Core, and an
Ironbound Tome.
Staffs and Scepters
Higher-tier casting tools use shaped crafting as well, and they pull from a mix of infused materials, runes, and ingots.
The Golden Shower needs
Mithril Weave x4, a
Holy Rune,
Divine Pearl x2, a
Chained Book, and a
Zenalite Ingot.
The Grimoire Staff combines an
Enchanted Spell Book, a
Graybeard Staff,
Mithril Scrap, an
Arcane Ingot, and an
Evocation Rune.
The Divine Scepter takes
Divine Pearl x2, a
Mithril Ingot,
Holy Rune x2, an
Artificer's Cane, and a
Gold Ingot.
Putting It Together
The infusion chain and the crafting recipes overlap in what they demand from you.
Divine Pearl appears in both the Golden Shower and the Divine Scepter, so gathering it in bulk saves time.
Holy Rune shows up in the Golden Shower once and in the Divine Scepter twice, making it another material worth stockpiling.
Work through the infusion ladder in order rather than jumping ahead. Secure
Refined before chasing
Reinforced, and
Sacred before chasing
Strengthened. Each infusion only accepts the specific item listed, so an item from the wrong branch will not substitute for another. Once you have the top results in hand, the crafting recipes above turn those materials into the gear that makes the effort worthwhile.
