The Mixing Cauldron and Its Many Recipes

The Mixing Cauldron is a central crafting station in Hexerei, offering 37 distinct recipes that produce everything from tools to magical components. To build one, you need a standard Cauldron, two Torch, and five Iron Ingot arranged in a shaped pattern. Once placed, you can begin combining ingredients directly in the cauldron.

Crafting Tools and Components

Several recipes create essential tools and upgrade materials. For example, combine three Gold Ingot, four Gold Nugget, and one Chain to make a Broom Chain. A Broom Netherite Tip requires one Selenite Shard, three Netherite Ingot, and four Netherite Scrap. For a waterproof option, mix one Conduit, four Dark Prismarine, two Prismarine Shard, and one Prismarine to get a Broom Waterproof Tip.

The Mahogany Broom itself is made from one Netherite Ingot, two Mahogany Log, two Bottle of Blood, two Wheat, and one Mandrake Root. To craft the Broom Seat, combine one Small Satchel, two String, three Leather, and two Infused Fabric Block.

Other useful tools include the Dipper, made from five Iron Ingot and three Iron Nugget, and the Pestle and Mortar, which requires one Nether Quartz, two Iron Ingot, and five Stone.

Storage and Satchels

The cauldron is also used to upgrade your carrying capacity. A Medium Satchel comes from one Small Satchel, six Leather, and one String. Upgrade further to a Large Satchel using one Small Satchel, four String, two Leather, and one Medium Satchel. For dimensional storage, craft an Ender Satchel by combining one Medium Satchel, six Obsidian, and one Eye of Ender. A Coffer is made from five Mahogany Planks and three Gold Ingot, while an Entangled Coffer (yielding two) requires one Echo Shard, four Moon Dust, two Eye of Ender, and one Coffer.

Magical Items and Blocks

Many recipes produce magical gear. The Blood Sigil is made from four Redstone Dust and four Polished Blackstone. A Crystal Ball requires one Diamond, six Glass, and one Stone. For Gold Rings, combine four Gold Ingot and four Gold Nugget.

The Crow Ankh Amulet is a complex craft: start with a Crow Blank Amulet Trinket, then add Dried Yellow Dock Leaves, two Glow Berries, Dried Mugwort Flowers, a Totem of Undying, Dried Yellow Dock Flowers, and Dried Mugwort Leaves. The blank trinket itself is made from one Mandrake Root, five Gold Nugget, and two Gold Ingot.

For a Mushroom Witch's Hat, mix three Red Mushroom, four Brown Mushroom, and one Witch's Hat. A Candelabra is crafted from one Chain, four Candle, and three Iron Ingot. The Herb Drying Rack Full comes from one String, two Stick, one Mandrake Plant, one Belladonna Plant, one Yellow Dock Bush, one Brown Mushroom, and one Red Mushroom.

Materials and Fabric

The cauldron also produces base materials. Moon Dust (four units) is made from four Redstone Dust and four Glowstone Dust. Infused Fabric (two units) requires two Black Dye, four Leather, and two String. That fabric can be turned into Infused Fabric Block (eight units) by combining one Infused Fabric with seven White Wool. Finally, a Herb Jar is simply eight Sand.
