Hybrid Aquatic Advanced Crafting and Armor Upgrades Guide
This guide details advanced crafting recipes in Hybrid Aquatic, including unique items and methods for upgrading diving armor.
Crafting the Argonaut
The 
Argonaut is a unique item crafted using a shaped recipe. To create an Argonaut, combine the following materials:
Iron Ingot (x2)
Barrel (x2)
Furnace (x1)
Glowslime (x1)
Comically Large Nautilus Shell (x1)
Chest (x1)
White Wool (x1)
Diving Armor Upgrades
Diving armor can be enhanced through smithing transformations, which apply improvements using a 
Diving Armor Upgrade Template and an additional material. There are eight distinct upgrade recipes available for diving armor pieces.
Glowing Diving Armor
To create glowing versions of your diving armor, you will use Glowslime in a smithing transformation. This upgrade applies to all standard diving armor pieces:
Glowing Diving Boots: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, 
Diving Boots, and Glowslime.
Glowing Diving Helmet: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, 
Diving Helmet, and Glowslime.
Glowing Diving Leggings: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, 
Diving Leggings, and Glowslime.
Glowing Diving Suit: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, 
Diving Suit, and Glowslime.
Reinforced Diving Armor
For reinforced diving armor, you will use a 
Black Pearl in a smithing transformation. This upgrade also applies to all standard diving armor pieces:
Reinforced Diving Boots: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, Diving Boots, and Black Pearl.
Reinforced Diving Helmet: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, Diving Helmet, and Black Pearl.
Reinforced Diving Leggings: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, Diving Leggings, and Black Pearl.
Reinforced Diving Suit: Combine a Diving Armor Upgrade Template, Diving Suit, and Black Pearl.
The upgrade template covers both paths
Every diving-armour upgrade is a smithing-table recipe built on the same Diving Armor Upgrade Template, and there are eight of them: four armour pieces multiplied by two upgrade materials.
- Glowslime produces the glowing set — Glowing Diving Helmet, Glowing Diving Suit, Glowing Diving Leggings and Glowing Diving Boots.
- Black Pearl produces the reinforced set, with the same four pieces.
Because both paths start from the same base armour, the decision is per piece rather than per set. Nothing stops a mixed loadout if you have more of one material than the other.
Version differences
The 1.21.1 build carries 176 crafting recipes against 155 on 1.20.1, so a handful of items simply do not exist on the older line. If a recipe from a guide or video will not appear in your recipe viewer, the version is the first thing to check rather than the ingredients.
Stone and decoration
Alongside the gear, the mod ships 67 stonecutting recipes — the aquatic block families cut into slabs, stairs and walls the same way vanilla stone does. That is a large decorative palette for an underwater build, and none of it requires anything more than a stonecutter.
